  2. Hi Guys Well I am back after 23 days drifting around Spain And the good news is I also have all the passes for the show, they arrived while I was away  I took the chance of ordering four spare passes (as they were cheap) - so I have 20 in total (16 for cars I already have details for) While away I have received a PM from two other members asking if I have any spare passes so assuming they take them that means we now have 18 cars attending That means I still have two spare if anyone wants them, Noz or anyone else. These passes are all for the club stand so we will all be together I also have all the info for the show (admitance times etc) Once I am up to speed (still got half a holiday head on lol) I'll get everything updated tomorrow, including where we can all meet for a bit of breakfast then drive in convoy to Trentham. If anyone wants the passes sending out, to arrive individually instead of making up a convoy before the show, let me know and I can get them posted - you will still be on the club stand. best regards Rich
  3. cheers silverline and Paul I already paid for the passes anyway (including yours, I told them I left a few details to be added later) Also I payed for a few extra passes (call me mad) so if anyone wants to tag along that is OK too. Now then.... since my last short holiday in April don't let this worry anyone cos I ain't running away with the money to spend on cocktails and loose women lol ... but I'm off to the sun agan on Mon 13th May and won't be back to cloudy UK till 5th of June (cos two weeks just ain't enough time in the sun don't you think) but as I said the passes are all payed for so I'll finailse everything when I get back Rich
  4. And TBH those things are not difficult to ad after market - so we have the perfect car.... maybe
  5. Cheers James, It's this one http://www.zcentre.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.pbv.tpl&product_id=276&category_id=77&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=7 with the twin side scoops It has been tweaked a little bit by myself to get DRLs and indicators built into the side scoops My sidelights are halo's build into the headlight units I thinks that's why it looks really clean but the lighting is still road legal Rich PS my indicator repeaters are built into the ganador mirrors
  6. I took these on Thurs when I drove my Zed down to zworld Anyones on here? I quite like the blue one, reminds me of my written off one Rich
  7. Hehe let the fun begin then :) No 'borrowing' pics off the net as that would just spoil it What shall we do - make it shed of the week or the month? We could have a poll at the end to see who spotted the best Rich
  8. Some mate told me they do this on another car forum - so perhaps we could have a go just for some fun They take pics of particularly badly done cars that they spot out and about and then vote for the worst one of the month No cheating getting pics off the net though this should be fun and cheating would just spoil it! If everyone feels this is a good idea then it could be a bit of a laugh So here is my entry for May Spotted on the M4 near Reading on weds this week I particularly liked the way the front bumper was flapping about in the wind
  9. Yeah OK I guess that was for Jap cars but there are imports around so.... corrected  300ZX TT Z32 1989-2000 3.0L V6 0-60 = 5.4sec BHP 300 Top Speed = 186mph On The Road = approx 1000 cars Approx Value (Project = £ Good = Pristine =
  10. Hi mate Here is the bits of data I managed to put together (without a lot of research) The How Many Left on the road stats I got from howmanyleft.co.uk However that does not include jap imports as they often don't get noted on the V5 with the model I've tried to correct this for the 300zx Z32 - according to the howmanyleft site there are about 580 on the road but came to the conclusion there are more like 1000 inc imports Unfortunately this figure would also include the Z31 as the V5 calls them both 300ZX and does not distinguish, so I can't come up with a figure for the Z31. So we have to make a guess at that figure - anyone fancy suggesting a number that 'feels right'? Any other info you want to change or fill in the blanks please do so then I can get a draft leaflet together. Also a quick paragraph about each car type would be nice Rob Gaskin over at ZClub has kindly offered to provide info for the older models Anyone wanna add some of the data about the 300zx Z31 / Z32 here? Or correct my errors lol Anyone want to give me pics of their cars I could use. An Unmolested Z32 would be nice to use as well as nicely modded ones When I have a rough draft created I will post it here cheers Rich 240Z / 260Z (S30) Year 1971 - 1974 Engine 2.4L INLINE 6 0-60 = BHP 151 Top Speed = On The Road = approx 140 cars Approx Value (Project = Good = Pristine = 280ZX (S130) Year 1975 -1981? 12. This suggests why a car extinguisher is probably a good idea for about £20 Plus sods law says If you need one you won't have one, and if you have one you won't need one - so that's an even better reason lol
  13. Some of yours will be fine if you like, cheers I can photoshop out the background if needed so it looks good in black&white Rich
  14. @Blackpool - is that a manual 350Z you are bringing? @cyberbean and silverline Thanks for the payments and support for this event - it's much appreciated Rich
  15. Well I whould have known with a name like Roobarb lol. List corrected! Rich
  16. @Steve Yes that error was pointed out to me on ZCLub too! ANd please let me have the logo send too info@ukpub.tv Also whoever can send me a 300ZX club logo? @phutumsch You are very much correct m8 - we need to give some nice info that is relevant and interesting to prospective owners but not too much to overload them, just keep it to the interesting points only rather than be encyclopaedic The paragraph on each car should be different and relative to that model, The specs table should be the same (for comparison) Rob Gaskin over on ZClub offered to help me there for the earlier models What I was thinking for the 300ZX (Z32) was perhaps a short piece about the various models (inc the rare convertables) then somthing about engine tuning/mods and about BHP and track times we are acheiving - basically make it exciting! Maybe others differ in opinion so let's hear them Would some one like to draft something for the 300ZX then we can discuss it. Not everything can get in a short paragraph but between us we can probably highlight the points to push The whole idea of this is to promote and improve the image of our cars so let's make it punchy and exiting I am hopeing to run off 500-1000 A4 leaflets, this may sound like a lot but it will only cost me the paper and the toner for my photocopier (prob about £15 total for run of 1000) which I am happy to donate, and if we even get one or two new enthusiastic owners from it I would consider that a huge success.... if we get none then WTF I tried, but I would not be disheartened and would try again :thumbup1: Any leaflets left over I happily will pass on to other show organisers Oh I also need some pics. If you would like your car on the leaflet please let me know, royalty free of course! Maybe I could photoshop few cars together (stock, modded, 'vert) This is very much in the planning stage so anything goes, but I will do it and have them ready for Trentham. Bear in mind I can only produce these in monochrome (B&W) Given some info I will draft something up and repost here then we can look at it again Rich
  17. Seeing as I have the facilities (a photocopier!) to run of a batch of leaflets for the Trentham Classic car show I whought I would have a go at designing something. I want to create something that is very positive helps to promote the image of our cars There are cars attending from this site and ZClub so I want to do something that gives equal prominence to all models of the Z car and to both sites I have attached a rough layout that I am thinking of using The top section will have both club banners Each car section will have a photo of the car (or maybe two), a paragraph applicable to that model and then a table of information (for example a bit of info on variations of models in that type) or whatever best fits like a bit about track times we are acheiving The info I would like to put is what I think would be of most interesting to those attending the show so I am thinking Model Years of Manufacture How Many are left BHP, 0-60 (stock) BHP, 0-60 (typical modded) Price Guide (project, good, pristine) I'd like to do that for each model It does not have to be 100% perfect info, this is for the interested punter to read, not the total enthusiast At the bottom a bit more info about each club, this should be done in a way that may encourage folks to think about owning a classic car, tehll them how friendly we are and how much help they will get! Anyway if you like the idea of the layout, can I have some suggestions of what to put for each car type? Something for the paragraph about that car, and please help fill in the sprc table or suggest other things I should add to the table Also posted on Zclub cheers Rich
  18. Reg no? - - - Updated - - - Cheers Mark and eveyone else who has responded so far :thumbup1:
  19. Hi guys I'm about to pay for all the passes The organisers are asking me for a list of car registration numbers and car models Could you let me have the info (LWB,SWB, auto, manual, turbo n/a..... would also be nice but just 300zx would suffice lol) If you are happy to post the info with your reg no here that's fine, otherwise you can email me on info@ukpub.tv Anyone else interested (and those not paid yet) now is your chance if you want to attend. There is still room to tag a few more on the list, but the organisers tell me this event will reach full capacity soon so it's gonna be a big one cheers Rich
  20. Oh lol pmls I thought this was another leaking targa thread!
  21. Nahh those ones on my old blue zed were chrome and had a little yellow indicator bulb in them, but not LEDs - I really have no idea where they came from and have never seen the like of them since
  22. My first Z Not selling, but I very much regret the day I lost the back end, clipped the curb and spun her out on a sliproad in 2009 After hitting barriers on both sides of the road it was a write off I honestly thought i had no pics of my first Z and I don't, but then I remember the previous owner uploaded some to the site where they did the bodywork, so here she is Does anyone know what the chromed indicator repeaters are - They said 'Twin Turbo' across the middle (see last pic) Also, technically I still own the TCZ7040 Registration number as the car is actually SORN even though it no longer exists as it was stripped for parts. However I don't know how to transfer this to my current car as I was told the car the plate is currently on must be taxed? Maybe someone here also knows more about how I retrieve it? Rich
