well nothing you can do there if he has .. but there are holes in the chassis rail its self when going under the car so all being well it will find its way out

that is a Chassis Vent for the carbon canister ... Normaly when it gets deletes its left open not sure why someone has put a pipe on it but remove will be ok

TBH i would just to the manifolds .. as rapping the tubs would be a major pain to do .. Heat blanket would work

undo the middle bearing and it should fall out the prop sits with in a recess and wont fall out ..

sounds like a broken wire in the loom as the only thing that will move when turning is the engine its self in turn moving the Main part of the loom oh and the wires leading to the Cas/ptu unit on front
