Ionic dynamics, anyone heard of them?
Looks like the answer is yes then  good to hear they make good stuff Was it just postage or something? How difficult can it be :whistling: Oh yea, didn't spot that, would have been a giveaway!

Ionic dynamics, anyone heard of them?
Wondering if anyone has seen any of their parts and knows what they're like? http://www.ionicdynamics.com/ProductsNEW1.html Came across them the other day, haven't heard of them before but that doesn't really mean much! Not to everyone's taste of course but I adore the roof spoiler they do, have seem similar designs in the past but never anywhere that sells them so pleased I found somewhere for future reference! Also I think I've seen it said before that it's difficult to find late spec side skirt replicas? They've got some! No idea what the shipping would be like of course, but the prices seem good.

Z32s at auction
Did you have it inspected yourself or just go by the sheet?

Z32s at auction
I get a bit confused by the gradings, seem to see a lot that are grade 4 but then have three or 4 A/U/W2s and even the odd 3 to boot. I thought 2s were supposed to be damage about the size of your palm? Are they just really strict and make it sound worse than it is?

Jae 2016
If we're constantly struggling for numbers, would it not be a good idea to try and make a more formal arrangement with another z club for organising/sharing meet information? I have no idea what the logistics would be like, just an idea!

Name change?
Ha thanks! That's twice in one day now, ChrisTT was my new name that JaiKai changed it to as Chris was taken, but clearly you're a maverick :punk: It gets confusing when obviously all your old posts change name as well!

"You picked a fine time to leave me, Loose Wheel!" - Mondo's new Zed.
God I love your interior. I can't help but think that cup holder would be really useful in an auto, but not so much in a manual!

Colour matching white
Got a bit more confidence in it now!

Colour matching white
Well that's my question really, will a good bodyshop be able to match the colour properly. Sounds like it might be a bit hit and miss

Colour matching white
It's funny, I've heard some people say white is the easiest, some say it's the hardest! Would I be right in thinking the late QN0 would be harder to match than 326 as it's a pearl?

Colour matching white
So as per my thread the other day I'm looking into hopefully getting an import. Has to be white, but not that yellowish pearl, so I guess I'm probably looking at 326 or maybe QN0 if I get a later model? At first I was going to hold out for one already fitted with a 99 front bumper, but I've realised I think I'm being a bit stupid with that. I don't particularly like the 99 specs (spoiler, interior, worse options etc), not to mention they're expensive! And if I get an earlier model that has had one fitted, then it's already had some spray work done so why don't I just do that myself? More cars to choose from then, and may even work out cheaper as I think 99 bumpered cars have a bit of a premium on them, which you have to add duty and vat on to as well. So in general, would it be easy enough to get a good colour match in these colours? Or is it going to stand out like a sore thumb?

Name change?
Any chance I could change to just "Chris"? Doesn't appear to be taken, I always automatically sign up to websites with this stupid name I used when I was like 14 playing games lol time I dropped it!

£7.5k Z32
But what about when the tanks are in the same conditions? Does less oxygen in the full tank mean it's better?
-
£7.5k Z32
I'm put off by the fact he hasn't bothered looking into the hicas light. As I understand it, a little basic knowledge/a quick google will tell you it's probably low fluid and just needs topping up. That he didn't know/couldn't be bothered doesn't scream to me that it has been well looked after enough to justify that price. Bit harsh maybe but still.

OEM Parts? Where do you get them?
For my big order I did a few weeks ago, the prices for each part varied between Z1 and CZP, with one being cheaper for some things and vice versa. But Z1's postage is a complete ripoff!! They wanted around $200, CZP quoted $80

Import websites
I'm off charge at work at the moment so I think I've looked at every car on there  Doesn't have a 99 front bumper. Quite a few seem to have them fitted so I'm happy to wait for one that does

Import websites
Thanks, yea that's one of the cars that made my mind up when I realised what I could get for the money. But I think I'd always regret not getting a white one, though I really want a 99 front bumper so it's nearly there! I'll ask him about the other though. Not fussed about getting an auto, I'll swap the manual over from the current zed if need be along with everything else worth keeping! That's a conversion itself so can go back to being an auto.

Import websites
So after finding out my zed needs new turbos and is rusting through again despite being welded up twice (before I owned it) in the last 4 years I've decided to cut my loses and get a fresh import. Well, to try anyway! The paint is rubbish in general so by the time I pay for all of that I could import one with half or even a third of the mileage! And in white :tt1: precisely the wrong time to decide this as I'd just ordered $1000 worth of stuff from czp and a load of stuff from baz, ah well! gazwoz has said he'll keep an eye out for me, but I like to be proactive. Was wondering what websites people recommend looking at? So far I've found buyee, goonet exchange and seen the auctions through jdm auction watch. Any more websites I should be scouring?

300ZX vs Supra - a final verdict
Is that because the yen started to strengthen though, so people couldn't afford them rather than people thinking they're worse cars?

300ZX vs Supra - a final verdict
I've always thought the supras looked a bit like a clown car, they're too rounded imo
