  1. So the AMS one didn't fit properly with that size battery?
  2. Thought postage would be a lot, it would take a while to arrive and not sure it would fit with a normal sized battery (whatever that means) so if someone knew of one for £20 or whatever then I'd go for it
  3. I need to relocate my expansion tank as my left wheel is rubbing it when turning right, and yes I've just had the alignment done and it's all good. And no I don't want to remove it! :tt2: I know A fair few people have done it, any tips on what tank to get? What size? Where do people put them? I like the idea of next to the battery like the AMS one as that would make it easily accessible, but was wondering if anyone knows a tank that'll fit there well? Aside from the AMS one that is :wack: Otherwise it might be a bit of trial and error which I'd rather avoid, I've barely driven it for ages now and just want to get it sorted quickly!
  4. Yea there's nothing to it, just order as normal and all costs are upfront. I've ordered a fair few things like this now, and sold stuff as well. No idea what happens if you want to return it, but I imagine eBay deal with it and you just send it to the national depot. That is just a guess though Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  5. I'll never understand wanting to look at an engine. What's the point in a high power engine if you don't want to see it? See it?!? Who cares, its there for one thing and one thing only, to make power! Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  6. Good choice....so.... Where's that 99spec going?!?[emoji14]
  7. Stillen and sell me the 99! Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  8. I don't understand how everyone else on here seems to get their insurance so cheap! Cheapest I could find was about £550 with flux, a fair few mods but nothing unusual, limited to 4000 miles, no points, yes I'm 25 but still, not that young!
  9. It'd be alright if you got agreed valuation, but do "normal" insurance companies offer this? As I understand it, you have to declare the mods (obviously) and they charge you a premium for it, but they won't shell out for them if you claim, so it's a rip off. They'll only replace/pay for them as if they were standard. Well I'm pretty sure that's admirals policy anyway. Unlike specialist companies like flux etc who will pay out
  10. Don't you have to be careful with "normal" insurance companies as if you claim they won't pay for the value of the mods?
  11. Glad it wasn't just me being stupid when I did this then as that happened to me, had to cut some away
  12. Tempting, thanks for the offer, but I've got a lot of dash out work to do at some point that I was planning to do in one fell swoop but I've got other issues to sort out first!
  13. I fitted my new japspeed adjustable front tension rods today so I can get the alignment done, it needs doing anyway but hopefully it will stop my new wheels rubbing!
  14. Yea I'd be interested to see what the red illumination is like, are the dials easy enough to read?
  15. Ha it blanked it out!

  17. One of my mates sister's name is Tessa Watkins. She's a journalist at a local newspaper, so when she's on the front page it invites you to email her at... ****kins@readingchronicle.co.uk Despite her telling them, it was years before someone senior noticed and changed her email address

  19. Unfortunately it's fully hitting the arch liner itself, quite a lot on the one that's hitting the front... good idea to do something about the screws though, did think they stuck out quite far, will have to see what can be done
  20. Cheers guys! Yea that's why I didn't order the spacers before I fitted them in case I could squeeze ten in, not sure the extra 5mm is worth fitting new studs though, will think about it. Depends if I'd get a 5 on without new studs, I forgot to check
  21. Fitted my news wheels today, thought someone might be interested! Not finished yet, got sent 4 wrong nuts so waiting on those and can't fit the rear centre caps as the half shafts stick out too far, but I was planning on getting some 5mm spacers anyway and that should solve it. Makes it look a bit scruffy at the moment but will be rectified soon hopefully. Please excuse how filthy she is, not good I know, and the pictures aren't great as I was running out of time/light 18", running 245/40 on 8.5s at the front with +20 offset and 275/35 on 9.5s at the rear with +40 offset at the moment. Do have a, err, slight problem that the fronts are rubbing at the moment...rather worryingly perhaps differently on either side, though I don't know if the liners are exactly the same both sides? Rubbing at the front one side and the back the other, the steering wheel is well out so I know I need the alignment done but not sure if that's gonna help. Also hope I've got enough clearance at the top, first time fitting aftermarket wheels for me so don't really know what can be gotten away with!
  22. Do you mean one of the cat thingy codes? They might lower the value, but from my (very limited) experience I'm not sure insurance will be a problem for cat c or d
  23. Even if they won't listen (which I don't imagine they will tbh, but worth a go anyway) surely you could buy it back off them and (hopefully) not really lose out?
  24. Ok great, thanks. Blimey they are cheap, thanks for that, think I might go for them. Do you think I should try 255 on the front or is that pushing it?
