  7. Got this email today............. How Smart is Your Right Foot? see if you can outsmart your foot, but you can't. 1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles. 2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction. happens when your sober too ;)

Nice one Pk, I agree they will do anything to boost their bookings, but there are good points too. They saved me (and possibly others) from a serious accident when my rear wheel almost came off last year on the motorway. when the car started to go out of control, they were on me like a fly on sh*t, with lights flashing and sirens blazing.I slowed down and they created a passage between 18 wheelers and fast moving traffic on either side, so I could pull in to the hard shoulder. So good cops spot things quickly, sometimes for the right reasons. It's not all bad. :)
  14. Congratulations and best wishes :) Mick.
  15. Well I'm going to have great history for the next owner. 1.Rear wheel just about comes off on a UK motorway and almost kills me. 2.Seized by customs 3.Nearly written off by pothole. .............dread to think of no. 4
  16. Watching with great interest Dave ;) Are you by any chance having weird z dreams? I am, and mine isn't going to the bodyshop for 4 weeks! I'm sure the end result will be stunning tho :)

Tulip and Kersh are in Dublin, so they are not that far away. Did you know the only Zed specialist in Ireland lives in Clane!! His name is Ian Byrne, "Car tork", I will be bringing my car to him in December for some work. He's a very nice guy, if you get time call into him, I'm sure he would love to see your Zed. :)
  19. looks like there's gonna be identical twins then! Apart from the high rear spoiler, that's what im going for. Copycat
  20. I reckon it's all myth. They were all made the same up to more recent models which were toned down due to emissions

That's very true, mileage doesn't really matter if the car has good signs of it being cared for. My first Zed had 46k and I had to spend over 2k replacing PTU, shocks and the autobox . My current one has 121k , the interior and exterior are spotless, no history but the engine and autobox are very smooth, it was very well cared for in Japan and the UK where I bought it. Mileage and plates sometimes have to take a back seat when it comes to buying a car of this age.
  22. As above Vinnie, if you are saving 150 on the sale price you could end up paying more in the end to a bodyshop. That's why i've gone for the 99spec front bumper and stillen urethane side skirts. I guess if you are handy with bodywork and have the time you could save yourself money though.
  23. Nice one Gaz ;) You may even get a full respray on the house :hyper:
  24. Cheers Tizer, exactly how I felt all along. You are one of the few people on the forum who knows exactly the state of the roads over here. I don't know how you guys manage to get those big 18 wheelers around some places.
  25. Just had another look at that pic Emero. Wasn't she the most beautiful woman?!! No airbrushing or gimmicks. I guess everyone flicks over tv or pages of beautiful women nowadays because nothing seems real in our world anymore. I have had a :duffer: few but I will carry on. ;) "Move on" people say, you're living in the past. I happen to like the past. Apart from my wife and children,(and the internet of course :D ) there is nothing about the present I particularly like. I am only 36 but feel a lot older. Guess the point I am trying to make is that the past always seems so much better. Have you ever gone to a school reunion and smelled the old furniture smell ? The paper, crayon's, polish, everything mixed together and suddenly you're 6 and sean o'neill is firing paper balls at you from behind his desk. It's an incredible feeling, you can almost grasp onto it like it was, then it's gone. The more you try and remember it as it was the harder it becomes. Why does the past always seem better , even though you also remember bad things too. I find it a big comfort in life to remember things, painful sometimes. But then I wonder about the adventurers and explorers who live in the present. People with vision , people I would like to be, but at the same time happy in my own mind. Life is a very strange thing, so many different characters with so many different views. Don't ask me why I decided to post this, i will be embarrassed tomorrow, but it feels right just now.
