  1. Cheers PK, the weather was still nasty on the way home, hole still full of water, but will head out in the morning and do just that.
  2. I took about a dozen photo's , using different objects to get an idea of the scale of the hole. What worries me is the car is not leaning to one side bacause of a busted shock, the whole front has dropped completely on both sides
  3. Thanks guys, there no way to explain how gutted I am.

Sorry I can't make it for the near future Tulip, check my pothole post on general discussion. Just typical, i was looking really forward to it :(
  5. Can't believe this has happened after the time and money i've put into her this year. This morning on the way to work in heavy rain I went over what i thought was a small puddle, but it turned out to be a deep hole. Two loud bangs as both passenger side wheels hit it. Got out , furious, and checked my new alloys for any damage, found some scratches but was too wet and dirty to examine further so got back in, drove 10 yards down the road, and then it got worse. Suddenly there was some very nasty noises then the whole front suspension seemed to collapse . pulled over and found the whole front of the car sitting on the wheels and the front spoiler touching the ground. Called a recovery vehicle to remove it and take it to nissan. 180 quid recovery charge later i'm on the phone to the co. council trying to remain calm as they explain the painfully slow procedure involved making a claim. I won't have the assesment from nissan till monday, but it's going to be big. I've just had shocks , cambers and new track rod ends sorted last week and a full wheel alignment and tracking done 4 days ago. So here I am zedless for the near future, and the money I was going to spend on goodies is going on repairs, 'til I get a claim up and running
  6. In one way that doesn't make me feel too bad ,and that i'm not a complete idiot when it comes to mechanics.
  7. Nice one, never thought of that ;) looks like i'm not gonna have a busy weekend :D
  8. Can't remember his name but someone on here's got a silver z with those lights and they look good. Sarge, you must get a great buzz looking in your rear view mirror when stopped at the lights
  9. Well all may not be lost then. Thanks Andy.
  10. i bought a set of new ebc front discs and pads in march ,and after some good advice on here decided to do the job myself . BAD IDEA. In the last couple of weeks I notice vibration/shaking when I brake at high speeds. I know warping is common if the bolts are not tightened properly, so i'm guessing this is the case :( Funny thing is If I brake very hard it goes away, it's only when i first touch the pedal, but still very scary to brake at 100+ and feel the steering wheel wobble. All my wheels, tyres and tracking are in order so I can rule that out. Is it too late, are the discs fooked?? :(
  11. Sorry guys, i meant to wind up dd and Co. , but it didn't work out, there are no pm's!..If you read the first post again it might make sense Again, apologies I ever started this stupid thread :o

  21. Good idea suzy, between both clubs there must be someone involved in the printing industry. These calendars must have been a pain to make and put together but the results speak for themselves
