How about a photo competition between now and christmas for a years membership (for subscribed members) . Very simple just take a pic of your zed in unusual or funny circumstances. No photoshop or pro's, and only taken between now and Dec. 25'th. Surely one of the club administrators can give their verdict around that time? Just for a bit of craic??

yep,it's hard to distinguish leather from good plastics and vinyls nowadays. I think the only difference is the smell . I've just retrimmed my interior with "leatherette" Whatever the hell that is, but it looks and feels like the real thing even though it doesn't smell like it.

No probs, i've done a search but it's all double dutch to me. As skyline Dave said I'll leave it to an expert.

It is quite thick and hard to work with but worth the effort. As the links will show you it's a long process (took me two days). The interior trim isn't too hard once you get going but the door panels are a bitch.

And anyone else who has done it for the advice and tips .Started yesterday, nearly finished. I used cream leatherette which is thick and quite hard to cut when trimming around the doors, so i'm going to get some help tomorrow . one of the most worthwhile jobs i've ever taken on in the zed. Nice having a new car smell too :hyper:

Sorry, forgot to ask does a boost controller just plug into the ECU or does it need a specialist to fit .

Do I take it a boost controller will eliminate the need for boost jets? With a chip and boost controller i'm hoping i can run it on 95 oct at stock level, and if I want some fun, fill the tank ,add octane boost and set it to a higher boost, so i will be keeping my engine safe. Sorry for stupid question, but I've done searches and read a lot about boost controllers, and because I cant get optimax or anything over 95 oct here it makes it a bit more complicated.

Stock,that's the whole point. I had a chip made by John Dixon and it sits in my top drawer smiling at me. Ireland only has 95oct now. If i want to put the chip in i've got to add octane boosters everytime i fill up. It's my everyday car so that would be impractical. Extremely frustrating. :mad:

That is wrong. You have been had plain and simple. Sounds like this was a very fast deal, as said he knew what was happening but gladly took your cash. TBH try and get your 4.5k back. You don't realise it now, but in 12 months of being on the forum you will be pretty annoyed. 93 or not ,cleanish n/a's are fetching small money now unless they are something special. I've had both, I'm not running down the n/a because it's just as good as a tt but not as fast and you will come to love it no doubt. it's just people who take advantage of others shouldn't get away with it. anyhow ,welcome ,and best of luck on whichever route you take :)

Strange, if you look closely, the silver one blends right into the rear window at a point, but the red one seems to have been cut at the tip. Unless there are two versions?
