As said deffo sounds like link arms. Tried drowning mine in wd40 a while back. waste of time. replacement is the only option. Very expensive new, but you might get a good used set off one of the traders here.

at the zclub do on sat there was on black z32 parked near the front door of the hotel. It's the only car I couldn't link up with it's owner. Unusual z logo on the drivers wing. No-one seemed to know who it was. anyone.....??

That's the problem with the 300zx boot isn't it?! you don't have much space to play around with. I once had a small pioneer tube, small enough to put it right at the back of the boot without connecting with the hatch, and it was the dogs danglies. But it got wet one day and the wood started to splitafter a while. think i'll do some further investigation on the ones Chunk and Chris recommended. Mick.

cheers Mark, good link! Makes a lot of sense. tubes do sound better when turned backwards or when the boot is open. i've got mine turned sideways because it keeps catching the parcel shelf boot cover thingy when I put it longways.

Just want something with good bass responce which is'nt too big, cheers scartlead. Chris and Rich , looked at both of those. I reckon the infinity is pretty expensive but the other one looks good value ,even though it looks quite big. going back for another look.
