Hey, Do you think this will fit on a LWB with an OEM spoiler? I know its just a guess really, I think it will! Just after opinions. I'm currently spoiler-less trying to decide what to do with my rear, I want to fit a carrier in the future, but no good replacing my rear with another OEM spoiler if its going to stop me attaching a carrier.

Seems to be something in every part of the Zed. Can anyone tell me what this is, its under the drivers side rear seat 'wall' trim - Under the passengers side rear seat is what I think is the OEM amp, and the blue thing (on the left) I think is the relay for the interior lights? (which is what I was looking for) -

Does this mean I have the option to pay it? I've worked since before 16 and never been to the hospital (other than to be born) and made it to 32 without visiting it.. Took my daughter once I guess to have a bead removed from her nose when she was really young, (kids do weird things), so guess I paid for that... Got the paint today, it's called Nissan Starburst Silver Metallic. It is KL0 and going off the cap it looks the same. Yeah, I'm going to need some laquer (and primer), but still need to get rid of rust and fill some holes. Just wanted to check that the paint was a match first.

I too am looking at the HTC Desire HD, I get an upgrade the end of Feb. I've been looking at deals and I can get one free on a 24 month contract for about £25 pm with free texts, some free calls and about a gig data. Around about the same deal I have now that I got 2 years ago with an LG Arena. Many here are saying Iphone, and yeah sure they're nice to use, super quick, but the same deal is about £35 pm at the cheapest and a charge of hundreds for the handset. What I'm trying to get at is it doesn't seem like a fair comparison financially. So it all comes down to what you can afford and are willing to spend on a phone. Although I haven't used the HTC Desire HD I have watched review videos and read reviews and its seems to be a good phone. For me it has to be the HTC... we'll see in Feb.

I called a couple of auto shops for paint today. I need Silver Ice Metallic KL0. One said it would have to be mixed but didn't want the code until I ordered. The second said they had KL0, but it was called something else (I forget what now, think it was Star Silver). I said 1992 (its actually 1993 K Reg but my brain wasn't working), he said yeah from 92 onwards! I said I'm going to come by get and can and test the match but then discovered I'd lost by debit card... I'll go by tomorrow and get some, but I started to wonder if its called something else in the UK? Seems to be Silver Ice Met in the US. How can the same Nissan paint code have two different names? :blink:

Mines manual by default. I can check my V5 if you like, though fairly sure it doesn't state anything, but then if yours actually states 'Auto' then I imagine you should change it.

No no, don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the help and understand (like Maz originally said) it's difficult to diagnose it without seeing it and testing it etc. I thought others might have experienced a similar nightmare, but guess I'm just lucky and I like sharing my pain with the world! :laugh:

That's a good idea! I originally figured the headlight re-wiring was the cause, but then went off that idea. Something is changing whilst driving the car, which makes me think a loose wire us bobbing about somewhere. I think I'll pull the light circuit fuse out (3rd from the left on the top I think) and see what difference that makes! Cheers! :)

I've just got back in and have discovered that switching the interior light switch not only brings on the 'door ajar' light, but also turns off the clock and resets it. I also temporarily lost my speedo too, which is new... The alarm has no clue what's going on, it arms then goes off several seconds later, but is fine after re-arming. Sometimes just arms and fine. Sometimes arms but chirps warming me something is open. I realise there is little anyone can say to help, but makes me feel better venting here...

Well on the way to work this morning the 'door ajar' light began glowing dimmly, then on fully, then went off again. I think something is loose and occasionally making contact with something else. This is new and so I'm wondering if I've further disturbed a bad connection behind the dash when fitting the new headunit. Can't wait to pull that rear panel. I need more daylight, by the time I get home its always dark! Ahh!
