  1. Oh LA Gear! forgot about those! Didn't they come with dog-tags that hung from the laces?! Weren't they fairly cool, I think I remember wanting some! lol
  2. Yeah, very American I'd say and they did seem to try hard to break into the UK market a while back. Remember the first ad, the guy on the beach looking for his Sketchers "Has anyone seen my sketchers?" I've thought about getting some just so I could re-enact the ad! lol The most recent ad is for those trainers that apparently tone your ass whilst you wear them! (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Skechers-Womens-Grey-Lace-Trainer/dp/B001SN8DN4/ref=sr_1_2?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1295209595&sr=1-2&searchContext=B0007TLQR0,B001SN8DN4,B0026RX60G,B001N0MRS4,B001CG7I8S,B0013O5M7S,B002VJJFHC,B001SN8B72,B001CFLI62,B001AZLM2O,B002DPVUK4,B0035TTHZC,B000IFIFX6,B0028N7NP2,B00377GO3A,B001ULDTME,B0030NLN32,B001EJN314,B0037NXC3E,B002C755EK,B003S3RDQK,B003S3RDOW,B002VM2CO2,B0026S8VGY) I'd have some yeah, but maybe better to ask someone under 30 if they're "cool" :) (Theyre no Hi-Tec though lol)
  3. I have an import and almost sure mine are heated...the snow melted off them.
  4. Had to get mine from Ebay as the local car parts place hadn't even heard of an H3C. I mean I really didnt expect them to have one, but thought they would know of them!
  5. Sorry - first time for me! :innocent:
  6. Wow - Didn't expect so many responses. Everything is still standard as far as I know, original gauges and bulbs, so it could simply be the bulb. I guess I'll get a can and carry some spare petrol around with me, then let it drop below the empty mark. I have an import but don't imagine its different from UK models. At least I'm not the only one with a weird light! Cheers! :)
  7. I've been driving my car to almost empty to see what I can get out of a tank...I've been waiting for the fuel light to come on and now on the empty line with no light, is this normal? I believe the light is meant to get brighter as the fuel gets emptier, but I have no light at all.
  8. Why! http://www.zimbio.com/Reventon+Lamborghini/articles/119/Made+China+Nissan+300ZX+Lamborghini+Murcielago
  9. Thanks, it makes sense really. I thought Econ deavtivated the compressor / air con. Rec is obvious now, should have realised! Hmm, interesting that it should keep the settings. Something, a chip somewhere must remember the settings, so if not a bad earth could be that.
  10. Hey, Ok, can someone please tell me what the 'Rec' and 'Ecom' (or Econ?) buttons do? Also, does everyone else's reset back to 25 degrees when you restart the car? I wish it would remember my last settings! Cheers! Edit - Whilst I'm asking, what exactly does the Auto button do, just hold the temp at whatever temp is set? That's what I figure it does?
  11. I can live with that, cause I'm not sitting in it! lol
  12. I found out today the the seat joysticks go left and right too, tilting the drivers seat and heightens it too I think. The passenger seat only goes forward and back and has level tilt, should it do more like the drivers seat?
  13. Seriously though, instead of totally disconnecting it and if your headunit doesn't have the option, you could simply fit a switch into the power line, then you can control it; switch it on should you need it.
  14. Or swap it with my broken ariel that never goes up! :)
  15. It various, many threads on the subject, can't tell you about gearbox oil, but I use 5w40 fully synthetic engine oil. Some use 10w40.
  16. Mines meant to have done 63000, my interior looks as nice as the one in your previous Z, but the wheel and knob leaves me suspicious....engine sounds good though, so ended up buying it anyway. Hpi checked reported nothing. If you can report it, it's got to be worth it.
  17. Adrian Flux worked out best for me, but I'm using the car full time, so far. Oh I'm 32 (only yesterday) with 9 years ncb, but only TPF&T, but can drive other cars TP on my insurance...strange I thought. Cost around £495 I believe. lynbrooke wouldn't insure me as my Zed is parked in a residential car park. ???!!
  18. Getting everyone not to use there car though, its not realistic. I think it's been tried before, when prices increased the first time. I do think a rebellion is called for, not simply over fuel prices, but over Government in general. I first lost hope when Tony Blair explained that he wouldn't be 'bullied' by fuel protests. Wait a sec, 'bullied'? Isn't it your people; your country trying to tell you something, don't you understand?! I think the whole expenses thing showed just how detached MP's are from the people, they have no clue, or simply don't care. Then the recent student Uni cost protests, especially after the promises...I really don't blame the students for losing it. I have no respect or hope for the Government... The UK people have been pushed too far now, I honestly wouldn't be surprised by a rebellion against the Government in the near future. Protesting and petitions are either pointless or illegal, they'll do what they want, we're just cattle. The cattle are tired of being milked.
  19. I've done this in the past with other cars an they were fine. Should be ok, but I believe it depends on the charger and its output.
  20. The US site does...shame the UK site doesn't. So many nice things in the US.
  21. 270 Miles?! I'm an N/A too, this is my very first tankful, but I think I'll be lucky if I see 200 at this rate. So far it seems I get about 60 miles per £25. So about 200 miles on a tank I'd estimate. No real motorway driving though. I can smell some fuel odour around the rear though, first time tonight, so concerned I have leakage.
  22. Real nice, I nearly bought one for myself, but have enough going on right now with the real thing! It's one of those satisfying things...like Lego!
  23. Not really mate. I had a quick dig around the boot for the yellow one but didn't really have any luck, but wasn't looking properly to be honest. I need to empty the boot out, so many wheel braces and sockets...tools, but nothing to get the bloody wheels off! LOL I had some wiper issues (driver arm popped out of the socket), so spent time sorting that, then give her a proper hoover and wash, did the upholstery too. All smells good and feels like my car now!
  24. Oh its a long story, but the fuse and bulbs are fine. Someone's done a crazy wiring job on the lights, so possible they forgot to wire in the interior lights...another weekend job. :sweatdrop:
