arrrrgh cock, now i realise what happened, my car was an auto import, i changed the clocks to a series 1 uk cluster to get rid of the KPH and associated converter as it was buggering around with the PAS, Then the car was changed to a manual, and I introduced the lower binacle lights which were never used originally. My mot station won't pass it with hids

Hi all. I have to remove my HID lights for its mot. Ideally I want Led lights. Question is, what do I fit to a jap import. Anyone on here have experience??? Ta Sayers

Having had both auto and manual in the same car. If I had my chance again I would have an auto box uprated rather than a manual conversion.

what do the in line valves do ??,

Right then, the symptoms are, I can hear the washer pump motor whirring away for the front wind screen washers when activated, but no water coming out of the jets, washer fluid bottle is full, jets are unblocked, So im guessing the impellor on the motor has had its chips, Nothing at all happens when I activate the rear screen wiper, ( well the wiper wipes, but no water sprays out) no whirring of motor etc etc, So what do you chaps think is wrong, and , can anyone supply me with a new tank with known good motors please, Thanks Sayers

For ease , and the associated pain of having to take my car back for a retest if they pick up on the fact it has HID ballasts fitted, then ill just put normal bulbs in, question is , what type of bulb is it for a Jap import, Thanks

Just spoke with my MOT centre, I am advised that aftermarket HID's are no longer permissible, So, need to return the vehicle to stock bulb configuration, it is a Jap import, so what type of bulb do I need please ??, and what is the very brightest bulb that I could put in place of the HID, Thanks Sayers

I live in Codsall, WV8 area, the rest ill send you by text when you are ready, The thermostat is a big job and needs the front of the engine to be stripped down, the Thermostat is normally done when changing the cambelt and at the same time the water pump, this is because it is so time consuming to strip the front of the engine to allow access that it is foolish not to do them all at the same time,

Best thing to do is advertise on here for one Radiator required, Uprated or Standard to suit a UK Manual, Buy a silicone radiator hose kit from ebay for 25 quid, and 5 litres of OAT antifreeze ready mix coolant from Halfords for 22 quid, If you cant fit it yourself, nip over, allow an hour , drive away.
