  1. It's the pr*t! that never asks the questions, good to hear it's all running..and good call 300_zx!
  2. How much are you looking for on the vw kit?
  3. Don't let him out until he apologises for not having a Zed!, you must have to spend ages shuttling that lot around? Amazing how many "interesting" Zeds show up in your pics that don't appear on the forums. Good to see strong business as well.
  4. Don't mind getting my mits a bit oily, if you need another pair to help...might psych me up to crack on with my engine change..lol
  5. Great thread Jeff... I also stuck a bit of catch paper under mine when a drilled out the pleneum to catch all the metal filings, stuff gets everywhere if your engines a bit mucky, otherwise a good hoover up should do....
  6. As Mark says, the engine surely is still good unless there was a problem before hand, worst case is the tub seals and some pipes you can't see may have been affected. Is this verdict as a result of getting it up to Jeff's, or is the motor not playing ball at all now?
  7. That's why he'd been following it then!...just to be sure!:sneaky2:
  8. I use Heritage, started a new policy with 0 NCB as other cars are on a joint with wife. Heritage have been very competative so far.
  9. Under steer to oversteer just what the gt3 needs!! And when did a race car ever go fast sideways! Lol
  10. just don't forget the extinguisher this time! Lol Jeff will work through the issues with you, its a great car so sure to be worth it in the end!
  11. You back up and running in the Zed then?
  12. No chassis damage then or has it been on a jig already? Great project and great commitment to keep the zed on the road.
  13. Defo make this one, have to drag the wife and boy along though, complete petrol heads!
  14. I don't!... But merely reflecting my concern that the best the Army have available to them and significantly better than the jackal, could be targeted ( tragically ) so effectively by the Taliban. Not looking to continue any debate political or otherwise on this thread.. Just wanted to show my sympathy to these unfortunate brave lads.
  15. Shocking news, and deepest sympathy to their colleagues, family and friends. Worrying situation given the protection their vehicle was suppose to give them...!
  16. If I can get the z running again, I will be going.. So join on the back if I may!
  17. Will check you out, should be going along on Sunday.
  18. Don't know what's more worrying, the car, or the fact you were looking for a bluebird in the first place.. Lol
  19. Very Sad to hear that news! I never knew him, but the passing of a fellow member deserves our thoughts and respect, my condolences to his family and friends.
  20. Championship No 20, Yawn!! Another 17 championships and i'll be thinking the same thing about Red Bull (F1)....
  21. Engine spec alone is worth a few bob, not £11K though surely? Lots of goodies so be interesting to see what it fetches, agree with front end (snow plow) I don't like the extra length this spoiler puts on the car.
  22. Great banter on that thread, taking the rise with one of the "can't you all see the prob" !! Good spot though that the Piston is rotated, how can that happen unless its detached from the crank/rod ?
  23. Shame! liked those arches and see they also do the seat belt pillar conversion!
  24. He's a teen, they always manage to turn a conversation to be about themselves, success at his level will always bypass the importance of others. As previously said History will remember Anne Frank, long after the "belieber"s pass puberty and wise up!
