  1. Apart from the muppets who wrecked the spoilers, surely the main unrecoverable damage is electrics, I don't know the spec of the spec of the car, but you could pick up another zed as a base project and use all the salvagable parts to build a new project, maybe make a few quid in the process!!..oh and a big car ramp for parking overnight lol!
  2. My lad has one... Looking better every day as a replacement to my motor! Battery power it's the future
  3. Prototype was on top gear a couple of years ago I think, powered off the jet ski, looks fantastic particularly porpoising through the water.
  4. Could still just make it before me then!...hope you have a good evening
  5. Rest in peace "Grandad, we loved you"
  6. 50 eh!!!... Nearly there myself, Happy birthday Stu.
  7. Looks very clean, although not sold on why it is the price now for the sake of a £200 repair ( his words) from a sale price of £3650 a few days ago, albeit probably overpriced. Trouble is you can't check the engine or running condition until its sorted, so worth a cheeky punt and you could end up with a bargain.... A few manual gearbox conversions on here for around £500 so worth taking that into account... Good luck
  8. Looks like an SWB!.....
  9. Not seen that Vid before, excellent! The Wacky racers used to run up the hill as part of the show, now they are reduced to a static display, whcih is a shame, but i think it's to give the kids area more interest. If you've not been, think of the most unbelievable motoring hardware old or new and many of the worlds greatest drivers old and new giving serious punishment to amazing machinery up the goodwood hill, truly awesome. Full of static displays, car clubs, motor stands and beer tents, doesn't get any better.....oh yes it does Goodwood revival!
  10. Had cavity wall insulation done under government part funded scheme, only cost £75, then a few months later got a refund (without asking) as scheme became 100% free! Heating comes on much later and for shorter periods....mind you unless there's ice inside the windows the family can stay in their ski suits, before i treat Mr EON to another profit haul, Lol! Loft insulation also available ...to much rubbish in my loft to bother.
  11. Doh!...Sorry, link would of helped http://www.knowyourcell.com/sony-ericsson/sony-ericsson-xperia-x10/xperia-x10-guides/560611/how_to_take_screenshots_on_the_sony_ericsson_xperia_x10.html
  12. Where money meets taste! :nono:
  13. As I understand it, Android 2.1 didn't have the capability to save screenshots, captures etc, but doing a quick search suggests there are some long winded solutions avaliable which may or may not be of help. See this link for starters found under Experia X10 screen capture (google) Hope it helps
  14. All right, don't rub it in! Do I get any PRS fees for using my vid, might help towards my rebuild. Lol!
  15. Doggy chew worked, got there first, cheers Gary:thumbup1:
  16. Seen digital guages before on conversions and alot of the succesful looks come from the right surrounds , i.e Plasma lighting and thinner/ flush bezels, for me they look to small heavy for the binnacle and as mentioned a bit budget scifi movie styli!!....
  17. heresy!...not least that there's no room or the plumbing!
  18. Previous owner always used BP Ultimate, so havn't changed, but when the engine is sorted may run some experiments on V-Power- Ultimate and momentum, although didn't realise Tesco did there version of high octane.
  19. PM him would be a better idea!
  20. Nice one Gary, hopfully beat the dog to the letter box when it arrives!
  21. Hi Colin, welcome aboard, plenty of help and advice and banter here !! Finding a good TT may well require you to take that Trek, there's a lot of dross out there, but equally some stand out...a few are on this forum for sale, so might be worth starting in the for sale section. Cheers Steve
  22. Good advice above, Call local Business Link and ideally a good reputable accountant for further advice. Jeff is absoultley right, do not assume good accounts are the basis of a sale price, alot can happen to a company in a few months or more after filing. Get up to date figures P & L's, Balance sheet and cashflow, busienss forcasts current sales ledger. Then look at customer base, for good repeat business (reputation counts for everything) When a larger sum is involved for buying a business or where you are the sleeping partner, it's not uncommon practice to have the previous owners still involved for a period of time, at least to prove the company is operationaly as good as the sales pitch, if it falls over or does not perform then a financial penalty or reduced value can be applied. Good luck.... at least you'l have your own lift for working on the Zed!
  23. second hand goods offer no return or warranty in a private sale, you have done every thing possible to accomodate and he has done nothing to ensure he was happy with the item before buying it. As he has had the itme for over more than a few days and not raised an issue until a couple of weeks he hasn't a leg to stand on. Has he sent a private letter or an actual claim via the court. in any scenario, tell him you will go to court (in your area) over the matter and then claim against him for time and epenses. Do not offer him anything in compensation as it is an admission of guilt...contact citizens advice for a clear and correct opinion on your position, but don't let the low life get to you.
  24. 235/35/R19 on 8.5J Front, 265/30/R19 on 9.5J Rear, they are 19" Rims but the car isn't lowered (another job!)
  25. Crikey! could of camped in those at Silverstone  Can't help thinking a full wide arch would suit them better, but the Rims are superb and will no doubt improve with the arches filled and blended
