  5. i bet the guy next door with the Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 next door is in hysterics every time he sees it ........ should put that out of its misery ..i can see what he tried to achieve and he nearly nearly got it......but less haste more speed...he has just rushed it and bodged it.....plumbing fittings for air vents :O
  6. lol love it ..nice one Simon
  7. spec is Weisco forged pistons eagle rods, stage 1 heads, mike smith manifolds, PE1420 turbos nismo 555 injectors, huge border front mount intercooler , accel race bearings, ARP stud and bold set , metal head gaskets, uprated radiator hard pipes RPS clutch, Fidanza fly wheel, under drive pulley set, single piece prop, Leader differential gear set. Big Big brakes to stop it ....oh and 3 inch custom exhaust going on - - - Updated - - - PSI set to 15 psi at the moment ...
  8. thanks , yes i am genuinely excited to be geting it back,,..soon baby soon .....must admit its been an absolute pleasure dealing with Jimmer
  9. well had a lovely email from Jimmer the red beasty is now at powerzed its having a new gearbox fitted, some niggly oil leaks fettled and a bad misfire diagnosed turns out the misfire was a fouled plug on cylinder number 1 and she is now running shweeeet !! but ive opted to be better safe than sorry and Jim is fitting a new engine wiring loom , the oil leaks were on the steering resevoir connection and one on the oil cooler, the replacement manual gearbox i bought from Mark is fitted with a spacer from Z1 to shim out the starter motor, just the boost issue to look at wont hold boost past 1.1 bar and the rev meter reading 2000rpm at tickover. while its there i am going for a new 3 inch exhaust system custom made by Infiniti exhausts as the one that came off apart from the tips which i really really liked , the rest looked like Frankenstien had welded it while he was blootered on whisky wearing a blindfold and using a pogo stick ...the passenger side silencer didnt even have a fastener mounting bracket on it.....i would put some pics up but it would just make me sad knowing what i had paid for it .... it left Noz with 473 RWBHP 527 at the fly so im hoping to see 500 at the wheels minus the cat and with some extra bost .....go baby go !!!! when she is finished i will post up some pics and enjoy .............finally !!! ta ra

cant sub till i get home Lexx you can email me though on my works email nellis@kpo.kz cheers fella see you on the 13th
  11. i agree with Richard on this , there are lessons to be learnt on both sides, Jose for his part has stood up to the plate and offred a refund but i can see Simons part in wanting to recoup the postage he was charged, postage is a third party cost anyway ( a service provided to both seller and buyer ) and in this instance should be classed as not cost recoverable, unfortunate but logical, i hope it comes to a mutualy agreeable conclusion to you both, shame there are not so many British suppliers of Zed bits and those that do supply are quite costly. ( supply and demand i supose ) kaza
  12. just simply awesome ....hope this goes to a few meets in the future even on the back of trailer ..would be great to see the work that's gone into this in the flesh

put me and Niki down mate ..it may not be in the zed, but hopefully Jimmer will have it sorted by then :)
  18. will do Chris . first on my list buddy
  19. i would if i had it Noel ..... :( dont suppose you still have it do you ??
  20. well the zed is off to get its final fettling, a swap of the gearbox ( not that there was anything wrong with the box when it went to Andy Duffs ) but between there and zedworld it managed to get cracked ..Jeff fitted it with another box during the rebirth but its whinning like a bitch in 1st 2nd and 3rd so now Jim is going to do what needs to be done , change gearbox, sort out missfire with a new loom, find teh persistent oil leak, and hopefully find the boost leak , as well as get her a new MOT ... she should be going down today and hopefully in a few weeks i will be a happy little zedder again .......
  21. i dont know why but the rear arches remind me of early TVR's
  22. also check the terminations on the PTU ( two plugs drivers side bank mounted on the front cam cover ) and the leads from the PTU to the coil packs.
  23. it sounds like you have got the MAF wet ....take it off if you can and warm it with a hair drier or put it on a radiator to dry out, check the filters as they might be damp as well and that will just make things worse buddy
