godyear eagles are a great allrounder and really suit the zeds driving characteristics , but i run Toyo proxes II now they are fabulous in wet or dry and better still , your spot on , never ever skimp on tyres its the only thing keeping the car on the road

Hi , very soon i hope mr duff is going to get his finger out and also my engine , while its out i want to fully clean and make as good as i can to factory fresh, the engine bay , which is the best method to use and which chemicals or solutions and tools will i need .. ??? what precautions should i take with regards to electrical connections , i am changing the loom anyway thanks in advance Steve

Dan is a Top fella and i class him as a personal friend , nothing is too much trouble for him , his advice is always helpful , he does bend over backwards to help , i have not dealt with any company on any issue in my 49years that is so customer focused as he and DTA are, Teamed up with Smithy its a truly class act and hard one for anyone to follow in my opinion. steve

r230 4.1 diff
its usually a na subrame and diff change complete with drive shafts which is swapped to a TT its saves a lot of weight .....if you want to keep the bullet proof diff drive shafts go for a set of leader gears even shorter than a NA ratio .....finding someone to fit it might be a problem though !!

Wing Mirrors
look at zedworld web site under new stuff , some new mirors on there quite similar to the stock size and shape but a little more aggressive looking with built in indicators to modernise it a bit , that way you could lose your side repeaters and clean up the flanks at the same time

Single Turbo Fitted!
possibly put twin rads where the OE intercoolers are and fit a FMIC in sloped at an angle in the space in the front bumper ?? i think the origonal renault 5 gordini turbo had twin small rads like that , might be wrong there though . its looking good by the way !!!

Hi Mate try Z1 autosports for the badges, or ive even seen them on ebay and any poster shop or vinyl sign maker can help you out with the black strip the pinstripe i think you can get from the traders section on here , mike feeney perhaps ? hth steve

Koyo radiator stripped bleed screw flange.
if it goes again get an alloy nut welded to the top of the flange and use it as an extended threaded flange and screw the bolt in it with a leather or neoprene tap washer on it

also with stand alones like AEM it comes with 2 stage launch control , traction control , nitrous wet / dry multi stage maps etc etc , built in turbo timers all sorts of goodies so they have advantages even for the normal or slightly tweaked cars ...

SU carbs
also check the damper oil in the su carb top it gets thicker with age and causes the nedle to stick . the needles and jets wear so first thing would be to replace those and the springs run the car for ten minutes wothout choke and then using either a meter or colour tune if you can fine one check the mixture , adjustment for mixture is unde the carb by throttle tube

As most of you know, my father has been battling lung cancer for the last two months, at 8 am on tuesday morning he lost the battle and passed away .....i did not get the chance to say goodbye as i was travelling home from work in kazkahstan in an effort to get to his bedside on time ..alas it was not to be ..... anyway just thought id share as this is a forum that cares steve
