  6. oh dear .........hideous............but with a few sensible reductions it could be nice again dont know how or where it lost 2700 cc in shipping it from Japan though
  7. very nice.............wheels .....dont like the vileside front though never have ..nothing personal mate just not my cuppa ..wheels look fantastic though !!

  9. you will find that Jeff will have done the tubs allready no doubt ....try loking at zedworld or click on the linky to Jeff's homepage .......anything zed related he's one of the best on here if not the best
  10. he was just playing with you ..if it was 600 BHP it would have just dissapeared into the distance ........
  11. agreed that as a heads up it is vital it isnot turned into a name and shame as Jeff and the car owner specificaly do not want that , possibly the car was missing brackets and bolts etc prior to going to wherever it went ....mistakes do happen nobody is perfect , lessons learnt on both sides maybe ? ...either way this forum is first and foremost about information sharing to keep these wonderful machines on the road ...as jeff said a PM is all is needed if you want to know more info ...no need for anything other than the info on this thread IMHO.......it was intended as a heads up as i have said and thats how people should take it ...yes or no ??
  12. cheers Dan send me the info on KSport set up please 8 pot 356 and 6 pot 330 rears ive looked at their web site but no data on prices etc yet ..as per Car Mads post would they be the new design , upgraded items . in orange preferably to black ... cheers mate Steve
  13. evil twins.............very nice mate
  14. yep ...always . always always disconect the battery when doing any elecrical work on a zed the electrical system is so strange that earthing problems , voltage drops caused by blown fuses etc are all too common if the system is not made electricaly dead first before being worked on
  15. Im fine cheers Dan getting back into the swing of things now my friend thanks for the input guys , perfect ...cheers fellas , the engine is out and being worked on so hopefully not long now .......watch this space ....if K sport have resolved the issues with the calipers imight go down that route, should fit under 18" rims easily enough ..although i really like the Kad kit on Smithys car.... by the way watch your in box im after more stainless steel engine dress up parts very soon :)
  16. i remember a thread years ago where the same was happening and eventually ended in a jammmed open throttle and a wrecked zed.....the small L shaped tube next to the throttle cam worked its way out and jammed on the cam ....worth having a look at that think it happened to legrath cam cover breather pipe was the culprit IIRC
  17. if your having an engine rebuild i would not put back in old pistons and rods regardless of age .. it just seems false economy to me not to replace them , if they are in good condition you could always sell them on and recoup some of the money back
  18. yeah sure theye only done about 200 miles in total ....nice blue anodised bells on them as well multi grooved and veined but not drilled ....will see if i can use them or not ...and get back to you steve
  19. i have upgraded my discs to 3G bigger 2 piece units but kept the standard calipers, what i would like to do is go bigger again on the front and upgrade the callipers , either tarrox or brembo ( heard nasty stories with K sport items and warping of discs ) my question is can i put the 3G items on the rear and upgrade the calipers ( with a kit that has the handbrake assembly ) im sure there is one that does have it built in to the caliper........will have to check out the web ..what is the ideal size balance to maintain the equilibrium in the brake bias ??? has anybody done this ??
  20. keep yer eye out mate ...im sure its a piss take but ive seen a few girls with them on ... not chavettes either !! ..........if you see a black C4 with limo tints and big fecker driving it..then thats me ....ill look out for your zed when im there next
  21. in my opinion mate those are extremely good , the Joker i would leave as is its finished like that.....youve captured the essence of the character ..to add detail in a background would detract from the mood you have accidentaly captured by not finishing it ....i dabble in pencil sketches and water colours too .....but not to that standard ..well done fella
  22. we used to run disco's in Tunisia for company cars ...they fell to bits in weeks
  23. Range Rovers are great off road .........with the right tyres theyll go up mountains verticaly

Hi Sean The border front mount is much bigger than the other front mounts and the pipework is alot bigger (60mm) its also angled so still lets air pass to the radiator and is also the most expensive of all the front mounts (over £2k new) and does not come with an induction. Price wise its not open to offers or i will just fit it to my new zed. Mike
  25. if you have a 99 spec front then the coolingto the rad is not really compromised as the air intake is much larger, also i am goingto duct cooler air from the origional SMIC ducts to the rad and im removing teh AC rad to help air flow also ...cant remember now if mine is a big single balanced FMIC or two ..it looks like just one big cooler but i may be wrong kirbz may know
