learn by my mistake .. i bought one after speaking to the guy who assured me they were great ...thebody shop said they were thin would need lots of prep work and were a horrendous fit not just the rear apron either the whole soddin lot ..ended up scarpping it and bought one of lukes kits that the body shop ar ereally happy with ....spoke to jeff at zedworld and he confirmed the bad quality of the kit i bought.....he said the body shop next door could get it all to fit and it would look good finished but its a nightmare geting it to that stage .....spwre wide body kit at Jeffs at the moment if anyone wants to risk it !!!!

looking at your car i would be tempted to go 89 spec it just looks more purposeful and less add on than the 99 spec IMHO ...i like the 99 spec better on white cars though funnily enough !

i think the pinstripe should go back on ...have a look at soem of the others and you will see it seems to define the swage lines , mine wont be geting its stripe back on but only because i have gone for a wide arch rebuild ....and teh rear bumber doesnt have a stripe line . looking very nice though , white is the new red ..............

i had a centre cross over balance box silencer fitted when i had the cats removed it helped cut down teh resonance and booming when driving at motorway speeds

i use snow foam on my other cars ...havnt got the zed at the moment , trick is buy decent snow foam and let it soak before washing it off ....

Mine is a LWB wish it was a shorty !! i most probably will be talking to John Dixon when it comes to mapping the AEM ..will need the exhaust long before then though ..like the idea of a slash cut staggered system something a bit different ...do Alunox have a web site !! hopefully bump into you at the xmas bash then :)

Daz there are some nice 3 part chrome effect paints out now , black undercoat , chrome top coat and clear laquer sealer as 3rd stage ..wouldnt take long to take the fan off degrease it and spray it up nice and shiny

Hi Mate not quite sure yet . Jeff keeps sending me teaser pics of the new paint work ..looks very nice....have not seen the body kit yet painted up ..they are keeping me in suspenders :) engine is done and ready to drop in ...waiting on the driftworks hicas elliminator bar coming and the leader diff gear set to be fiitted ..( i think ) ...i would expect the way that its going that i might have it back late december or early in the new year are you going to the zedworld party Andy ? and can i ask what exhaust are you running ? ive been after a slash cut twin twin for ages and cant find one in a 3" inlet pipesize ..might have to go custom on this

most important thing if you are going to 450 bhp ..sort the brakes out !!! the clutch is at the limit on just over stock power ...so you will need an uprated clutch also ... in the interim as Alan said , de cat exhaust , intake kit , chipped ecu , boost controller should see you sitting nicely at 350- 360 bhp ...believe me its fast enough !!! anything over 450 BHP on the road to me seems a waste .....if its acceleration you want then its tourque you need and not mega BHP ...go for a NA diff or leader gear set in the diff ..totaly transforms the car into a traffic light king ....regardless of what your up against ...loose out on top end obvioulsy but how many times do you drive at 178 mph ?

hi all ...my 99 spec front is at zedworld and i forgot to measure the main intake size for a project im starting , if anyone can help , it would be appreciated , i need to know the size in CM long the top edge of the intake the intake height and the length of the bottom edge , the height of the vertical drops from the top edge to where it tapers in to meet the bottom edge ......mucho mucho appreciato .....spacebo bolshoi !!!:thumbup:
