more than likey the alternator drive belt loose ....check that first...however if the battery has been that flat in the past then the chances are one or more of the cells are buckled .....in which case a new battery also ....

got a call from the guys at the body shop ......its done !!!! thats the big step over , wide arch conversion done , respray done , all extra bits done ...my only concern is the rear wheels catching the beautifuly crafted inner lip and ruining it but im sure jeff and the body shop guys have thought of this and its a worry too far onmy behalf .....anyway the zed can now be given back to Jeff and Jamie and the crew to refit the built engine and do their hocus pocus on it ....roll on the next few weeks ...Jeff get some piccies posted up mate :)

the PE 1420 is not smaller than standard ..its quite a bit bigger and spools up very well . a pair of those is good for 600+bhp with supporting mods

as they are oil based products and the price of oil is now 100 dollars a barrel ...the price is going up...you can bet the price wont drop when the oil comes back down though :(

i would change at least the pistons for forged the rods are forged anyway ...put some mike smith manifolds into the equasion and a 2.5" or 3" de cat exhaust and you will easily see the wrong side of 450 bhp at the wheels..however dont forget the clutch is on its limit at just over standard and wil start to slip at around the 365 bhp mark ....its worth putting in an RPS clutch too

mike ditch the shower tray and enclosure spend your money on under tile heating and have a wet room shower area ie drain into a fall away in the floor tiles ...the under floor heating wil dry the room in no time and makeit toasty relatively cheaply ..and when your not usingthe shower you have more room after a bath ....plus you can get two or three if your lucky in the wet shower area .....

my friend has just bought his daugter one ...nimble , safe sure footed car ..bigger than you would think ..no longer a mini more golf sized ..roomy enough ...built to a budget inetrior but built well....the mini one is quicker than a cooper if chipped still has funky looks and a timeless design ......plenty of tack can be bought for them as well

looking at your previous post you are running 740's on a 300 degree fuel rail and forged internals with head work , all depends on what tubbies your running on the air flow to the heads and mapping ..to be honest i would go with a switchable map set up low , med and high boost for when you run into a ferrari or porsche ...what BHP are you aiming for Sky ?? in UK bhp please dont go all yank on us and supersize it :)

this mod is a good one for those wanting a more snappy response from the loud pedal ive heard it makes a world of difference to in gear acceleration ...i have never used or probably ever will use 170+ mph anyway so would be happy to see the wrong side of 150 ive gone with the leader gear set which retains the TT drive shafts and diff housing and prop ..the hicas is being removed with a DW hicas bar not sure of teh ratio's on the leader set but think its somewhere near the NA ratio....ive heard of peole nearly being caught out on the motorway etc as the car responds much quicker and can be where your not expecting it to be very quickly....
