i agree totaly drinking and driving is just reckless....it costs many lives every year and much more mysery for years there after.......when i was 17 and had my mini clubman , i had been out with the lads for some "shandies" after Karate ....underage drinking i know..but i supose most lads have done it .....got home at 11pm felt fine felt sober had only drank 6 pints ....decided to take my car for a spin as this drink driving rubbish as i thought then was all talk..besides as i said i felt fine and sober....got in and drove off...only got about 200 yards a cat ran in front of me i lost control mounted the pavement only feet away from a man and wife walking home from the club .....it could have been much much worse...i simply in my state had not seen them.....i have NEVER even had a half if iam driving and will not drive the next day if ive had a skin full......

so long as the ground is fairly peaty you can plant some heathers in there ....they will look after themselves they come in all kinds of colours and smell nice ......also sprinkle some bulbs in there for crocus and snowdrops and dwarf daffodils , they will just multiply year after year and need no maintenenace other than to thin them out every now and again ...self seeding flowers are good for splashes of colour through the year , poppies , marigolds, etc dont forget to plant things with different heights, and in lots of 3 or 5

i think vjay on here did a group buy on them a long time ago i have some on mine silver white when off and a choice of 6 or 7 shades from blue to green when on .....do a search on group buys for them s ..indiglo dials i think it was

mate if its doing that it sounds like the hicas arms or bushes are serioulsy worn , i would not drive it like that to be honest , dissable hicas and keep it dissablesd until you can get it checked out by Jeff or the like

gary at that height do you get any fouling / rubbing of the tyre and rear arch ? im like you and at 51 need a bit of comfort with damper rates ..havnt set them yet for the ride height as i need to be carefull i dont rip the wide arch conversion of or smash the F/G if the wheel rebounds into them ......

look similar to the porsche cup alloys ....i like zees the best so far

i did similar to my Mk3 2.0 GXL cortina , but i was only 18 .....but it was in white ....jeeesh ....fuzzy interior and flared pants .....nightmare

running over rich can lead to bore wash ..where the excess fuel effectively de greases the cylinder walls removing the oil ..the obvious then occurs and the cylinders get worn and scored .......just a heads up as its happened to afew people i know that ignored the car running over rich ......( it was down to incompetent mapping by so called tuners )

Hi Andy that is very nice , where does it take its boost signal from, the standard vacum , or is it electronic as per the origional poxy gauge in the speedo .....

serioulsy mate ..take it back is not an aoption as you have modified it and they will probably be able to tell ..its not as sold to you and unfortunatley they have the legal right not to accept it....the only recourse would be through a small claims court and have them on item sold not fit for purpose, hopefully they will not inspect it as they know its a bad fitting item anyway and give you a refund....good luck whatever way you go .....

i supose the safer bet ..but LOTS more expensive, is to have custom split rims made up with the desired offset to give the stance needed but retain the original bolts without spacers ? ?

for a really good service on refurbs including split rims i used the wheeldoctor in manchester arranged pick up and delivery ..was absolutely spot on cant remember the price but wasnt that bad considering the personal service...
