  2. so looking forward to it Alan ..its been a long time coming together ....for one reason or another...for now i am keeping the leather but i am thinking about stripping the weight right down and putting some carbon buckets in there at some time in the future .....pity i wasnt home Daz me you and Kirbz could have a made a day of it,

Jeff sent me some pics yesterday of the wide body kit , so no pics to post on here as our firewall prohibits it and the off the pc method doesnot work ....anyway its looking good and going smooth .....not long before its up and running and turning many heads no doubt..and with 450 BHP at the wheels and a leader gear set in the diff it will no doubt be a car and a half to drive.........look out lancaster :) :)
  4. one good thing ..whatever you do after getting out of the driving seat is going to seem like such an adrenalin filled experience ......until you drive it again :)

  7. looks very nice Mate ...its a job im going to have to do as i will be losing the side lights in the need for more air flow to the rebuilt motor...great write up made it look easy ..how long did it take and how did you heat the headlight, did you use a hair dryer ?

  9. do they not get too hot when the dipped beam is on ?? i woud imagine that the rubber material incasing the angel eyes would start to melt as that domed projector lens gets stinking hot
  10. if you got the Golf and you parked it against the bora in Asda car park you would regret buying the golf ..the bora is not that much slower on teh road than the golf its not as twitchy on the limit its so much more classy and rare on the road ...and lets face it around town stop start traffic its going to be negilgible the fuel consumption differential ..itall comes down to where would you rather have your bum parked ..on cream leather or blue scratchy nylon ???

  13. CCTV as stated, go back and check if any cameras were facing your way andmay have caught the incident , leaving the scene of an accident is a no no ......go round to his when you find out who it is and park his scooter up his back eye

  19. it will be cheaper to pay a locksmith to unpick the lock and hand them the whole thing undamged andthere is not at thing theycan do aboutit as you are actually paying for the service of removing the clamp..it will costyou around 150 quid to pay the clampers and around 50 for a lock smith

Jeff use conzult on it and check for error codes ..........lol if you keep booting in safe mode before the start just after the windows xp icon press F8 repeatedly start in safe mode , scrol onto it and enter. make sure you have no discs in any of the drives including pen drives etc ...make sure the battery is fully charged before you do this hope you get it going my Pics are hanging in the balance here .............i cant stand the wait any longer aarrrrggghhhhhhhhhhhhh
  21. instead of illuminating the barrel, and having in mind that when the remote central locking is key fob activated the passenger compartment light comes on. would it not be easier to take a feed from that relay and send to an led each side that illuminates the Underside of the door handle flap ala BMW ..it would only need a small 5mm hole drilling in the handle case and an led epoxy glued into it out of sight ...just an idea
