matty Sent me this this morning !!!......... Sorry mate battery died on my phone and car lol! What a day! Awesome... Ran 11.3 and 162mph top speed. First 3 runs were stuck in rwd and last 3 the battery died and created a problem with the ecu and could only rev to 5500 rpm :-( Finished the day, emptied the tank of race fuel and then (madness) nobody had switched the Solaris into high boost so I had only run with wastegate pressure haha. Car is mega fast but has so much more potential - I think I left the longest number 11 of the day at well over 1/2 track going sideways!

Today a registered forum member on here ( not subscribed yet ) had his Skyline GTR on the rollers , its been a long time in the build at TR and is being run at ten of the best as a tribute to Tweeny Rob and to His Father who both passed away sadly this year .....anyway i got this message and thought if anybody wanted to wish him luck at the coming event then they could do so .... Car on the rollers... Made 810bhp at the wheels at 1.65 bar and 8000 rpm. Mapped all we could until crank sensor is installed and setup tomorrow, as expected the CAS was a bag os shyte for mapping decent power. Should allow us to run it up to 2.2 bar and 9600 rpm... Nitrous won't be run but is installed but car should crack 1000 bhp, it's pulling like a train and just looks the nuts!

exhaust advice
i must admit the exhaust does fill the spaces where it is designed to stick out of the apron ....i had a picture in my mind of twin twins but that would need the rear apron working on etc .....is that a complete exhaust from zed centre ? is at 3" piping ? could you PM me please as i need to budget for the exhaust , wide body fitting , painting, etc ....my car is currently with Jeff at zedworld. is the exhaust burbly over too loud mate honestly it looks like it would drown out a brass band ...

Thanks Lads ..to be honest its nice to be back .....im sure the car will be fine and i will enjoy owning her again .......i must admit the shine has been taken off it with recent events ......and the outcome with the trader will not change to how it is today ....i have accepted that .......the only gain i have is the moral high ground and knowing if i go to an event and he was there he would have no choice but to leave ...Chris your motor is looking great now fella , have you altered the front ride height ?? looks like your running an Audi v12 diesel in there :) ....

exhaust advice
Guys as part of my build i am going wide body , the rear apron is a strosek type with two oval apertures and an adjoining "split" i will need to get a new exhaust and would love to get a twin 2x3" back box arrangment .....im not sure how this will look with the rear apron does anyone have a wide body with exhausts they can post up ..i want something that looks right ..sounds burbly ..but not intrusive at speed on the motor way .....any advice warmly recieved steve

hi All back in the fold after a few years....was a fuly paid up member before "Stebbi" never got rid of the zed........BUT basicaly became friendly with a former member on here and agreed as he had his own ZX specialist garage he would do the hi power rebuild i wanted doing....and as he had another forum for zeds i started posting on there ...anyway my car went in April 2008 3 months after its full respray for a serious power hike and internal forged rebuild , the money changed hands as he was just really starting out and needed the capital for the machining etc etc ...i sourced all my parts from either Smithy or Danny Zatt DTA ( great blokes if anybody ever needs anything ) and off my bits went to the garage .......now i cant go into detail but some 18 months later the car is still not ready ....my father is stricken with cancer and wishes to ride in the zed when its done to experience the power ......the car is still not ready even after i was promissed it would be for my fathers sake ...my father passes away feb 2009 ..the garage is broken into and my car is badly damaged and releived of its new 18" alloys and brand new toyo tyres ...so now i had no drivable car as the engine was all over the garage floor ..no wheels to move it.....an irrate business unit owner wanting the cars moved as the garage had been re possesed....i was not the only person in this situation and one guy was in a lot worse sceario with his zed ....the upshot now is after having to rescue my and another member car at my own expense and then waiting another 5 months for the monies paid or part compensation or a promised plan of action all we recieved apart i believe from faisel was insults and rubber ear tactics and poor excuses .....my car is now with a reptable builder and specialist .......and will be on the road hopefully in september ..the moral to this tale of woe ..( if anybody wants to know the details PM me as it is far far worse than i have written on here ) is MAKE SURE the garage or specialist you use has public liabilitity insurance and double check his buildings theft insurance espceialy with his landlord if he has one.......i have lost over 4 thousand pounds on this over my own faith in humanity being as honest as myself and my naievity learn from my mistakes not everybody is as honest as they seem when it comes to the push Steve
