as youall know my car is being done at the moment in Tamworth by Jef and Jamie and the crew at Zedworld .at the moment it is being prepped for the wide body kit and it has been totaly stripped down .....ok here is my dilema i want to keep the car RED .....but would like to go to a metalic or pearlescent red ....not particularily nissan red as at the moment it is a 50/50 mix of audi tornado red and porsche gaurds red. what colours do you know of and on what cars that are a nice red ...?? if you can please post up some pics ..need to make my mind up very soon and would welcome the forums help on this thanks all steve

i remember when it was called poppy day, the poppy is a symbol of rememberence taken from the fields of flanders in the first world war where wild poppies grew after the blood shed on the ground and in the trenches had gone ....i will and always will make a donation and in my opinion the great war and second world war should never be removed from school curriculum's its a disgrace to the millions of dead on both sides that their loss and sacrifice is so easily swept under the carpet of political correctness.

i spoke to our good old Jeff yesterday, he sent some pics of the car , in the body shop...its getting there now ....when its all done and back to life i will post up the pics..finally getting some enthusiasm to carry on with the project now ...lost all heart a year or so ago ..but now im hyper again :0 :0 watch this space

hi Jane yep back to my roots ..good old M'bro .....born and bred here......over the border in east street then moved to pally park as a teenager and on to Acklam...moved away during my divorce to morecambe ,( easier to get to work )...offshore blackpool on the gas rigs ,now i work in Kazakhstan and flit between my house in morecambe and niki's in Coulby Newham..love your slicky ..wish i had the spare cash i would deffo buy it ....but after my wedding im barrasic :).....good luck with the sale darl

Ally isnt expensive ..if you know where to look .....found a shed load wrapped round a 30inch pipe in a dissused factory about a month ago ....its only .75mm thick so may not be structualy sound but could double it up or fold it and then use it i supose ....only cost me 5 quid in petrol there and back and i have about 6 m2 of the stuff :)

got married to the best lady in the world 10/10/10 now on honeymoon on the maldives ....heaven on earth ..paradise found .......just need the zed sorting and life will be perfect :)

i run a 5.5 V8 AMG Merc ML very quick and competent picked it up for 7 grand fully loaded .....but my fave soft roader and good fun , nice to drive ,comfortable , economical , roomy practical and cheap is the Honda CRV or if your a bit funky the FRV ..sooooperb little motors and built to last ....

good buy for someone wanting a 500bhp+ at the wheels with just an engine transplant... tried to pay by paypal today to subscribe ..but having loads of trouble with it ..... anyway jeff will post some pics of teh build as it is ongoing so i can have a detailed folder of it all ....i will deffo post up some pics as soon as i get them

very true Stella , ....we all live and learn, its been very difficult at times to carry on with the project but at the end of the day we all drive something special and im determined to get it back on the road instead of the ramps ......i hear Steve Mochan got his engine back ?

Hi Guys i spoke to Jeff at zedworld yesterday to get a quick progress report ..my zed is in the body shop the wide body kit from luke at zedcentre has arrived and its beeing fitted up ...my coil overs are fitted and poly bushes etc ....i feel like at last the car is being looked after as it should have been ....im not going to post any pics ..other than a before ....one during the time it was at another zed specialists :cursing:.and the after once jeff has worked his magic on it..:tt1: still lots to do and i am so gratefull to those on here and the other site who offered support and words of encouragment when i was ready to give up ...so glad i havnt now .....will keep you all posted cheers everyone Steve

a tesco shopping trolley would out drag mine at the moment ............

straight line traffic light grand prixs and a saturday night cruises are their domain ....not rural b roads or congested town centers.......handle like a truck and stop like a super tanker ........and the smell of hot fibre glass is like a pensioners rest home in sweltering day in August.....they look the muts nuts though .....and with side pipes teh sound is awesome......
