been there , got a new one ........ wide arch kit that is !!....one wide arch kit from ebay going cheap at Jeffs in zedworld ..make me an offer ....im sticking with Lukes wide arch kit... Steve

thanks for the heads up on the sound deadening ....first to go will be the driver and passenger electric leather retrimmed seats....shame cos i love em.....

you say you have changed the master cylinder also .....perhaps that is a faulty item you have put on..... ???

hi Chris mate ..at home but not for long....going back ooop north .....need some smog in my lungs ....having withdrawl sysmptoms lol....do you know any courriers i need to get my 99 spec front end to Jeff at zedworld so the painting and kitting can commence :)

well today i spoke to Jeff at zedworld.:cool3:...actualy like a pilock not realising it was bank holiday i went down to see him yesterday..:whistling:...obviously not there ...but my boot was full of brakes and stuff....luckily i left it with Chris in the next unit....Thanks Chris !! ....spoke to Jeff and the coil over suspension is on, car is ready to prep for the wide body kit..the body kit i bought from ebay is a joke and practicaly unfittable.....so am getting another from another top bloke Luke at zcentre :cool3:....it is so nice and refreshing to deal with traders who CARE and who are genuine ..:smartass:...cheers guys ..i will post up some pics of the progress when Jeff sends them to me .... getting excited at being back in a zed again ....:taz:....soon baby soon

it has lightened balanced fly wheel underdrive pulleys and uprated clutch....oh and a leader diff gear set to be fitted as well should be a bit of an animal.....then its a diet for the lardy old girl.........:)

hi nick from memory PE1420 turbos 555 nismo injectors kometic head gaskets eagle forged rods forged pistons Accel race bearings ARP head and mains stud bolts uprated polished ported heads with lumpier cams not sure of the make or spec of those....Mike Smith cast manifolds ....exhaust not sorted yet but will be 3" system and possible 3" divorced down pipes, stand alone AEM ecu ....huge brakes and coilovers ......

going down to see mine at jeffs tomorrow, see how far away it is ....not a big big build but looking for 450 rwhp so 530 or so at the fly i would think ,,,,,enough to see off anything bought from a showroom this side of 100k :).....

i think its ryan doing the mapping now jaffa ....not sure though my mate Matty has had his skyline built and mapped there ....i did pm JD before and if i emember correctly he can map the AEM also ?? that loom looks the danglies , looking froward to seeing a tt with the emerald kit fitted up and running

if its something quick comfy and unstressed , dont discount the AMG merc's and big Audi's .....although the audi's are pretty dull inside they perform well and are usually built well , have you considered the big lexus ?? or dare i say it mondeo ST220 ...jnot quite as quick but a LOT cheaper to maintain and a rarer car on the roads........

Zedwhizz you are a star matey ...yes it would be the full kit . minus the rear fogs and reverse which i allready have ....what is included in teh front kit by the way ?? this is very much appreciated ...by ALL on here the work you have put in to give a LOT of peoplr what they have wanted for years many many thanks Steve

each to their own Si ....but as im going wide arch but retaining the 99 spec front i would like to also improve on what i percieve to be a jaded piece of the design ie the mirrors ...just couldnt bring myself to do anything to drastic like Vileside or M3 with indicators built in ..as you say and i agree its a 90's car and should not be modernised too much or it will just look Barry

LOL wish i was loaded ......but deffo put me down for a full kit to build my own ..give me something to do on a cold dark winters night ......might go for the ready builds yet dependant on final costs in comparrison to DIY cracking cracking job fella

the AEM is a sound system and does what the emerald does and probably more ..but as you say ..specialists are few and far between .......i have an AEM to fit on mine but am fortunate that it has had a map for a TT with very similar spec to mine allready installed i will be taking my 300 with AEM to TR racing for full maping and setting up ...hopefully see around the 480 - 500 rwhp mark

i disagree i think the "look" of teh origional mirrors is nothing short of 1990's vauxhall and reminds me of a chevette i once owned , i actually hate the mirrors with a passion but love the full elctric folding and rear ward view they give .......i do not like any of the aftermarket type but would love to have something like a modena 360 mirror or vantage mirror or even a style similar to the porsche cayman / boxster just to modernise it a bit

so looking forward to seeing the beasty in the flesh again Matt......no doubt i will hear it before i see it LOL
