Thanks Alan i did speak to the body shop guys they have said that as its a mica finish ( very small metalic particles ) and a standard colour on lexus it should be easy enough to match if anything bad occurs , your point is the main reason i went off the candy apple red as getting the base coat right again then the clear candy on top it would never colour match properly ... Jeff is keeping an eye on it for me

after owning the car for 6 years and after being sprayed a custom flat red from the nissan flat red when i first got it, i have decided to modernise the car a little with a fresh coat of lexus Mattador red Mica...i cant post any pics up of the colour as our firewall blocks photobucket etc so if anybody wants to post up a pic of the colour go ahead as i cant really demonstrate it .. :( think it will look nice with the wide ass kit going on

the police have to remain impartial, and keep the peace they were most probably boiling inside, i work in muslim country and the amount of good musims today that have seen this on the news over here in kazkahstan and appologised to me and other expats on behalf of the crazy extremist minority is astounding......those people who did that are as British as you or me .....the country has gone to the dogs with political over correctness, and human rights they are giving other muslims working and living among us a very bad name as it is human nature to tar all with the same brush....its about time new laws were introduced to stop all kinds of fanatical protests such as they did in the 70's when radical and extreme shin fein were banned and their litterature confescated, members arrested and banned from the UK .....why cant we do it to any extremist these kind of protests only cause civil unrest and hatred ....there will be back lash no doubt and some poor innocent sod walking home will get it from a sun reading left winger just for having a beard and being dark skinned and wearing eastern muslim dress and chances are he wil be a decent bloke ..there is no justice it just perpetuates until something breaks

im in the same boat as you Dave ..have the kids but keep a log a diary of every event and the reason behind it ...not just to memory but keep texts and emails ..when the kids are old enough and want to know the truth hand them the diary and say make your own mind up .....you have to be a Dad first and foremost ,any idiot can be a father dont let your feelings cloud your judgement ....when you get the chance go round and tell them both your ex and her chap ..that you will do anything for the kids but that they crossed the line and they will not take the piss again ....in future you require a months notice not a text ....tell them to grow up and be adults ..good luck mate

sorry for hijacking but i am at the moment having a build done and im sure jeff in tamworth knows which plugs to fit but i would welcome second opinions ..i will be running PE1420 turbos , 555 injectors ,forget internals , rods and pistons cometik head gaskets mike smith manifolds, border front mount intercooler and 3 inch cat less exhaust with an AEM EMS .....what would be the best plug for that , i dont intend to use crazy boost levels but enough to get me around the 450 rwhp mark ( if i can get the AEM set up and mapped correctly ) cheers Steve

there are a few different types that are more commonly used, the aim to increase boost but maintain drivability , remember the old turbo fords and the turbo lag ..nothing ..nothing ..nothing..WALLOP !! oversized turbo application.....the disco potatoo is the most commonly used ...but keep in mind if your upping the boost then you are significantly uping the temps and loads on the engine so without forged intenals and supporting mods its not going to last too long.....i went for power enterprises PE1420 in the middle of installing now so will let you know how they perform they are rated for nearly 600bhp ( im looking for around a roadable 450 ) but will have it mapped for tourque as top speed does not interest me

Jan what do you pay insurance on it if i can ask ..is there much diference between a NA and a TT ... he has a very well looked after 2005 i think ,Corsa in black 1.2 that only breathes the fumes off his petrol at the moment i think he wil be in for a shock :)

why should anyone BENEFIT from being out of work !! the word benefit makes my pish boil....it was a stigma when i started work 34 years ago to be on the dole people would talk about in in hushed tones ...now its the accepted norm ..i agree that whole families have lived this way for generations now and nothing else other than ho wto buck the system for every penny they can benefit by and in a lot of cases it is simply just not worth going to work ..why work when our taxes pay for great unwashed work shy to go fishing and play at schoolboy flitting from course to course with no intention if getting a job..problem is there are no film star wages for shop workers or cleaners, and the benefit system prohibits people taking these jobs as they will effectively be out of pocket....however that being said we can not just turn our back on unemplyed as many WANT work many are proud ..sift out the ones who are a leech on society and start them on the earn your keep program....its all a legacy of lunatic past governments and political over correctness and our liberal nature as a country to accept it without question..bring back family values....stop the sensless over spending on political asylum and look after our own who need .it before looking after others who ar ehere for as much as they can get without paying anything back in
