Wow
i can understand why he has the spoiler on for the look he was trying to achieve, and i think if you look at it as a track tool or street racer , then it works , yes its overly big and pretentious , but in my opinion it suits this particular car

Simon the space betwen the diffuser and the origional lamp holder assemblies is easily big enough to get two or three rows of 10mm SM leds in and two rows either side of 5 mm leds , the only place its not worth doing is where the standard reflector sits , the indicator ( orange LEDS's ) need the balast resistor dont forget that, as far as silvering goes you can buy from any kiddies car mag ..revs etc etc ( god forbid ) window tinting film in chrome or silver it will let the led light through but dont know how much it will dim the effect .....it would be worth making a board with holes in and silver that and slip it over the leds once mounted which is well away from any diode legs and therfore the silvering or chroming will not cause electrical shorts and will keep the factory look from outside the car and look very trick when lit up !

Si i have one at work in my office i am converting as a trial to LED , i have just looked at it and there is is a good 8mm clearance at the tightest point between the diffuser and the "base" of the light ....when they are finished i will post up pics , unfortunatley not on the car asits been gone nearly 8 months now for the engine rebuild and is still no further forward than the day i took it down ...

power enterprise injectors
was thinking of getting them for my set up while its being built but they run about 500 dollars plus shipping and duty . could probably get them made custom to suit in the Uk for similar money ....saying that ..not much money for another 60hp and increased drivabilitity ..cheers for the info Steve..sorry for hijacking the thread by the way

power enterprise injectors
Jaffa would the Z! 3" downpipes make much of a difference to Ant's set up as ive been told they can make an extra 30 - 60 hp ....if so Ant, they may be worth considering if youre getting the bits and pieces as you go along
-
power enterprise injectors
power enterprise are a very good injector , possibly with 850 on your set up ( unless you are going for crazy boost ) may be a bit of an overkill and difficult to set up for normal running without causing over fueling and bore wash. nice zed Steve

Best Tyres For wet Conditions
best cars in the wet are those fitted to anything but a zed

from a to b the time will be reduced with better brakes ....if in "pushing hard driving" not in every day driving

Know anyone who can refurbish an OEM steering wheel?

Getting one of these fitted (ebc)
remember the difference it made upping the boost from 9psi to 14 psi ....well double it and thats what it will be like ..........with forged internals and 530 tubs IC and 555 nismos at 19psi you should be looking at around 400rwbhp + ....loads of fun :) take it easy though mate it wil be a different animal when you get it back and can bite you in the ass if it boosts up spins up the tyres unexpectedly in a corner

front lip spoiler/splitter
thanks Si . i have the 99 spec front end fitted and was after an extention for that , the essex racing front does look subtely more aggressive without looking too halfrauds if only i could find a lip extention like that in urethane to fit the 99 spec front id be a happy bunny ...
-
front lip spoiler/splitter
are thre any available for a 99 spec front end , something subtle like carmads home brewed but gracefull item , i always felt the 99 spec front would benefit from a subtle lip / bumper extension...

N/A diff fitted, but what prop parts work?
Cheers Mark i think i will suffer from wheel spin but my aim was to reduce the Lag of the bigger tubbies PE 1420's by altering the rear diff gearing , i have mike smith manifolds to help with spool up..i dont know how its all going to go, but i think we will need to re learn these cars again when its done ..looking forward to the thread when its up steve

TVR Tamora
my colleague out here has one, its stupidly fast and not an easy car to handle ...brake and clutch are every wooden and its been in for repair 9 times with niggley stupid faults but he loves it and is more than happy with it .....ive had a shot its play station quick and noisy ..youll love it ........dont give it the beans on anything but a smooth straight dry road though or youll end up facing the wrong way or through a hedge

Big wheels
20's are for cruising and would be probably quite detremental to the feel of the way the zed drives . you could get them to fit if you have enough money but i think you would regret it ..18's with low low profiles is as much as you really need on these ..unless you are running monster brakes the standard discs would look like they were fitted to a mountain bike . save 500 quid and get some decent 18's mate IMHO

N/A diff fitted, but what prop parts work?
hi Mark cant help you with the prop mate but would be very interested to know how you rate the NA diff conversion when you get to drive it ...ive opted for the TT diff with leader gears just need my car back to get it all fitted . i think the leader gears arr even more aggresive than the N/A diff set
