to make good artificial snow ...get a can of that expanding foam stuff and make your snow out of that it can be spread when still wet for a few seconds and with some practice you can make good snow drift shapes....it sticks to anysurface more oe less even vertical and upside down ..spray it white and put glitter on it ...worked for my lads nativity play last year...was a sod to get off the floor though afterwards .......... makes mental note ........put plastic sheet down first :) paint has to be non celulose based or it melts the foam

madest thing ever done was ( on a completely private track officer ) give a TVR grif 500 a run for its money .....absolutely even couldnt get past him but he couldnt pull away either ....his grif sounded the mutz nutz though on full chat ....after a blast up the Private Bypass road up to 145 ish and back down it after going round the roundabout we parted ways with a mutal thumbs up and salute .....first and only time ive ever felt the hicas working welcome to the forum Tee steve

loving that new gear nob .....i went aftermarket on mine ..big mistake!! need to get a new 99 spec one as i have a bit of red on mine ....yeah i agree with some of the body kits , Vileside i just cant get on with !!, but for others they are the dogs danglies ..and your right Funky he did ask :) ...........need to get in touch regarding the double din as i am ready to install mine when the car is back from Duff's.....IIRC you had a few issues with room for the cables and head unit .....sorry for hijacking the thread Steve

if you are going to modify then the first point of call should be brakes ....then susspension then if you want extra power the clutch will need upgrading , before you even touch the engine ....as far as this goes "Just steer clear of crap mods, ugly bodykits, huge spoilers, garish colours and aftermarket rear lights and you're sorted." take no notice !!! its all subjective , and each to their own, its your car and you do it how you want ,i like standard looking zeds like Simons stunning example ( which in fact are far from standard if you look closely ) and i also like modded zeds ......so go with how you feel and how you see your car in your minds eye good luck mate steve

when you are pulling the eeprom make sure you are earthed ..static is the biggest killer of silicone chips....and i dont mean earthed to the battery negative ...take a thin wire and attatch it to your wrist .....if you wear a metal watch thats agood place to connect the bare end of the wire.....the other end ( bare cores ) wrap around a big screwdriver shaft and stick it in the garden .....

i just dont like it to be honest .............looks too ....i dunno ..plastic !!! each to his own however , ..........

or even better seeing as you have just re trimmed your zed, any leather left ?? re trim the battery cover , i know what you mean about the ruber grip thing its like holding a corpse's hand

take the battery cover off and spray it with matt paint or clear matt varnish Si

well just an update, the zed has finaly found its way to the unit where Mr Duff will wave his magic wand and make it go very fast .........over the last few months i have bought PE1420 tubbies , nismo 555's a border front mount IC ( mahooooosive ) forged pistons and rods , mike smith manifolds, studs and bolts , gaskets and oil feed lines , polished plenums and lots of carbon parts .....Andy has the hard job of making it all fit in the engine bay ,,,,i will take some pics of the rebuild as we go along hopefully ...........wish me luck guys :o steve

ive got 10zillion BHP, i just changed my oil and fit one of them power increaser thingies from ebay........saved me thousands !!!

boxter s in 3.2 form was 266BHP when facelifted to 3.4 it went to nearly 295 bhp the standard boxter in 2.7litre had 240 bhp Steve
