  15. Spinksy you could upgrade the pads and fluid which is a quick easy and effective mod until you can afford to fit the brembo or R33 upgrade check the frequently asked questions or do a search on brake upgrade i have gone for a 310mm disc upgrade which allowed me to keep the standard ( very good OE calipers with racing mintex pads same as fitted on wrx scoobys with just a bracket being required se 3G brakes web site i got the font discs with anodised bells and anodise brackets or about 750 quid if i remember which is about 1200 quid cheaper than brembos and not a kick in the a**e of the perfomance steve

  19. i dont think you have a fuel problem as it is fine when you open the throttle have you popped the bonnet and looked at the throttle assembly with someone inside the car gently and slowly applying small amounts of throttle as you would in trafic, it could be something as simple as a sticky throttle assembly at small openings , streched throttle cable maybe and the slack is causing the hunting of the tickover ?? steve
  20. Mike i am back from Kazakhstan , its a good day tomorrow for the bay with the red arrows a feckin fast blast by of a very low Jaguar Fighter lancaster bomber , parachute display team and a very good collection of some clasic motors , its a pity this has been missed out as a day for the north west lads and anyone else for that matter to get together and enjoy the day Steve
  21. Hi People , ive just had my 3G brake conversion fitted  and all was well until about a week or so, now the brakes are squeeling like a pig on market day ,( around town driving ) and on a run up the motorway some pillock in a saxo pulled in front of me causing me to slam my anchors on, the steering wheel was nearly twisted out of my grasp with the violence of the steering juder  ( i was doing a highly illegal 120mph ) it doesnt happen at lower speeds 30 / 40 mph but at those speeds the squeeling brakes makes people think a double decker bus is pulling up  , please any advice is appreciated fellas, could it be a warped disc after only two weeks ?? or has the calliper come loose or something ?? nice to hear Kirbz is nearly up and running again Steve :hyper:
