i have recently carried out some mods , de catted exhaust blitz sonic induction kit , re mapped ecu , i have tried the boost at 15 psi using unleaded and optimax but it is running uneven however if i adjust the boost to 12psi it runs fine no problems and performs very well , i would like to run at the higher boost if possible as enough speed is never enough speed :D

i do not profess to be an expert but looking the graph and the way the figures really dip and trail off it seems that the Turbo is not producing any boost does he have a boost gauge and if so what is the boost reading ? ......does the engine note or revs increase but road speed does not / slipping or goosed clutch check the boost pressure and the air intake is not clogged filter blocked etc try contacting andy on his email at anything@turboboost.co.uk he may be able to assist further steve

3G brakes do a big disc conversion to 330m groved rotors with caliper bracket and green stuff/ black stuff pads/ and race spec fluid with rear discs at standard size for around 650 quid these discs come with anodised bell mounts in red or black check out their web site

i have had similar problems with vauxhall on my old V6 vectra they replaced the rear wheel bearings and after 15 months the same problem re occured, this time the car was out of warranty and good old Vauxhaul wanted payment to re do the work plus parts , i simply took my case to the citizens advice office they wrote to Vauxhall and threatened a small claims court , end result paid zero and had the bearings fitted free to keep the 'Good" name of the dealer out of the courts and the local press which i also threatened them with ..........its a last resort but if all else fails you could try the citizens advice office to see exactly where you do stand with your problem their input is totaly free so you have nothing to loose. well i think 1200 quid is a bit out of my range at the mo especialy since that is what i need for my Hybrid 2 turbos from smithy... think i will order up soem H3C super whites from PIAA at 26 quid a side . 55w power drain 85w equal output Steve:D

thanks for that Wilie i will have the calipers checked out for piston siezure prior to putting the conversion in place but i have had the wheels off the ground at each corner and had my friend to dab the brake pedal while i tried to turn the wheel , it grabbed fine and released when the pedal was released so i dont think i have siezed pistons i think it may be more like glazed pads and knackered brake fluid Steve

Thanks mate, not surprising the USA normally uses porridge for a suspension medium so the stock Z set up would probably knock their fillings out which makes sense to ave a soft and sport option for their tastes Steve

a subject close to all ...the dreadfull lights on the Z .....i have recently employed a man waving a red flag with a davey lamp stuck on to his head to guide my way ( he does have to run very very very fast ).........no honestly my question is ,are there any aftermarket light conversions out there that retain the origional look of the OE ? or does anybody know of a good cure for J spec car ? i have just had an email from Alisdair at 3G barkes who has offered me 310mm rotors with red or black anodised bell mount and billet alloy OE 4 pot caliper relocator bracket with race spec fluid 465 hard earneds .sounds good to me , the zed is 94 jap spec import ee moi ruski eta ochin harashow spaseeba, ya nyet nada ochit pa ruski yezik.
