  1. e-prom chip, blitz filter, boost's 1.0 bar.
  2. Well i finally got round to fitting my SS exhaust to replace the one below in my sig pic. Since buying the car last June the passenger side centre section baffles had collapsed but on removal both had gone, i thought the car was bloody fast before but now it could have almost gained 100bhp the way it drives, on completely dry roads in 2nd gear the car tears and twists when the loud pedal is punched, spinning the tyres loads! i couldnt stop driving it tonight and ended up driving 30 miles! 3rd gear is now like 2nd was. After owning 2 TT 300's before this one, by far this is my quickest. And... if any of you have read my previous posts regarding high idle at 1000 revs, it now idles at 700 perfect!
  3. VERY NICE but i could imagine them being to bright on a night? a bit dazzley? i have a blue horn button and that alone at night does my head in.
  4. i would cry i think if i smacked my alloy in to the kurb like that, could have been alot worse though!
  5. :lol:i dont like the oval tips either, quad round are miles better..
  6. bought mine last july £2500 and since spent £6k on it, albeit mostly on modificartions and maintenance. Have about another 3-5k to spend before im satisfied if there is such i thing.. lol
  7. Lol, thanks mate for the kind comment, it definately is a labour of love:biggrin: PITA = pain in the ass :2guns::asshole:
  8. I only have the exhaust now, the custom hanger is on ZX-TT 's car. 7 hour drive to pick up the exhaust, what a nice bloke and top car he has i must say.
  9. Hi Pete, yer i thought so.. the other type must be a custom job then.. thanks mate.
  10. S****T thanks.. im off.
  11. welcome buddy, your best bet with buying a Z is to buy one from this forum! at least youu know you can take someone from here with you and the car has been a labour of love and looked after by an enthusiast. There will be an odd occasion when your Z becomes a PITA though,, lol
  12. ive listed the cars ive owned and by manufacturer, as you can see i like my Nissans. Favourite? Well the Starion WideBody was just one of those cars you really never see.. The Z i have now is only slightly behind my Skyline GTS-T for all time favorite, full on drift spec and i loved it but was MADE to sell it for a house! Mini 1275 GT Mini 1300 Turbo Renault Clio 1.4 RT Nissan Bluebird Turbo Nissan GTI-E Nissan GTI-R (rare red uk version) Nissan Skyline GTS-T Nissan Skyline GTR Nissan Largo diesel 4x4 Nissan Largo petrol 2.6 Nissan 300zx LWB TT Auto Nissan 300zx LWB TT Manual Nissan 300zx SWB TT Manual (currant vehicle) Mitsubishi EVO 4 Mitsubishi EVO 5 Mitsubishi Starion 2.6 Widebody VW Passat V6 4x4 VW Golf VR6 VW Golf Karman cab Honda Legend BMW 3.0 Sport 2002 Toyota Supra 3.0 NA manual
  13. Hi all, bought a second hand exhaust today off a good lad from this forum:thumbup1: My 93 TT SWB existing exhaust's back box is hung on the coventional style rubber mounts, (L bracket style and push fit, 2 per box) The new exhaust i aquired today was mounted on a single soild rubber mounting, flat plate on can and bolted in place, 91 SWB TT. Are they 2 types of mount on SWB or is one a custom jobby? cheers James
  14. Update: ALL SORTED!! Wow i have awesome stopping power now, or at least its 50% better than it was. Fitted brake servo, fitted speedbleeder to each corner, new brake stopper and flushed entire system with new fluid (old fluid was dark coloured) twice. now i have a solid pedal and can activate the ABS for the first time since buying the car last summer. Would recommend the Speedbleeders!! they make the fluid change so simple. The squeek has aslo gone now..
  15. I 100% agree with all of this and the bold part above is the best line id be saying to them!! id have sleepless nights over that.
  16. welcome mate, you will soon find yourself consumed by your love for the Z and spend every minute on here talking amongst your new found friends.
  17. im putting dot 4 in at weekend as i to never plan to cook the brakes, ive heard dot 5.1 gives you a better pedal feel also but i flushed it through my Skyline "both of them" and it never felt any different..
  18. they arrived today, M10 1.0 size. will fit them at weekend and bleed the brakes for will proberbly the first time since 1993...
  19. hi mate, the temp sensor is "quite" new ive been told and has been changed before as for a 93 plate it should be red and mine is blue.. i suppose it wouldnt hurt to change it again though?
  20. Im still trying to get to the bottom of my high idle (1000 rpm) so i thought i would remove the IAA valve and give it a good clean and tbh it was quite carboned up. i noticed the adjustment screw was on half "in & out" as in pic, is this normal for a 93 TT manual? On a long run say 100 miles the car idles perfect but round town and only say 25 miles is always high.. I dont know if cleaning the IAA has worked yet but will test at weekend.
  21. ill let you know what they are like to use when they arrive.
  22. ive been pulled about 12-15 times in Hull over the years for all sorts of different sizes of plates, i got away with having a 8" long plate on the front for 9 months! i now roll with standard plate sizes as i got sick of being pulled. now they pull me for things being to big? wtf.
  23. Jesus they are expensive on E-bay! $12.00 for 2 at Z1... Ideally needed some for weekend but at that price i may wait.. Does anyone know what size we need for our Z's then, there must be some guru who knows.. ? Just ordered 2 pairs from Z1 (USA) and a brake stopper. £68.00 GBP. 1-3 days international delivery. Brake attention it is at weekend then..
