Full custom job. I voted for leaving the diffiser black/charcoal Like the car in the twinZ pics. Final decision down to Bob of course. It should be heading of to my mate Gary at GB vehicles near Grantham/Sleaford soon for paint. Then I am having it back at mine to re do the interior with Series 2 alcantara trim from the red TT auto we just acquired for parts. Ready by the end iof the year is the target:thumbup:

I have a fully working TT auto box coming out of a car soonish.. Can be tried in car at the moment. Car will move easier if you remove the prop. Its gotta come off anyway to change the box.

No just the gasket, It starts up and runs smooth n quiet. No noises or nasty rattles. No smoke from turbos etc etc. Autobox is also spot on. Paint and bodywork are A1. Look at the tailgate. Mint and with a tailgate skin fitted. Everything works (aircon been disconnected). I bought it cos of the lovely interior. And we are only using the trim. The leather seats are spot on and we dont need them cos Bob has some new Recaros on order. Shocking really. I dont want it on the road. I am coming to the end of the rebuild of my own slicktop so what would I want with a family estate version??? Many of you know how much I dislike 2+2 targas especially in slush box mode:sad: But the harsh reality is that its worth more in parts than it is sat on my drive now. Lets face it nobody would give me £1000 for a car with a headgasket problem and no interior:hammer:

You could buy some engine bay bling from me for your £40.:tt2:

i have heard that phrase touted around recently on here and elsewhere. I dont subscribe to it all all. So here is an example to discuss..................................... The story. Bobgenie and myself needed some nice interior to finish off his new white Slicktop. And a few more bits n bobs too. I also was short of some odds n ends for my own project so when someone local gave up on his 300ZX due to the headgasket starting to go I bought it. although its a J spec Ser 1 it had been fitted with a mint ser 2 Alcantara interior!! Just what Bob needed. Most of the rest is not needed. Its a 2+2 TT auto with a UK rear bumper fitted??? I wouldnt dream of trying to fix it up either to use or sell so its a breaker. Its a sad reflection on the (still) low values of these cars that once the headgasket goes and the ashtray is full its not worth fixing:cry: Maybe you agree???? Maybe you dont?? Discuss.

Everything NEEDS to be in writing nowadays. particularly with NHS. My youngest is currently a HCA in a theatre setting.

Blitz is a well repected source of induction kits. That is their basic model. Next up their range is the BlitZ SUS Power air cleaner. Make in Stainless steel which lasts forever. Not cheap tho. I am about to list one for sale at reasonable price. PM me if interested.

Yep PM me for a list. Need to know TT/NA and Man/auto. I also have a pair of billet aluminium suspension strut caps. They are s/h but in excellent condition. Here is a pic.... but I need to polish them up before sellling. Flash picture doesnt do them any favours. They will be better than new when polished!!

Im not at all in to TTs so can anyone give me a clue what a set of these are worth??? Assume good condition with all clips and couplers??? Ball park figure ???

Exactly. A simple job for any competent garage. i have two outlets very near to me who can do this and be finished by lunchtime if you supply them with the parts. £250???.... not to me it wont be:whistling:

It is all very exciting Martin. I share that with you. my project has been on hold since the Emerald was fitted as I decided to help Bob genie with his car/project. i am just waving goodbye to a LHD 240Z which has been another long term project of mine. Its off on a trailer to France today. My "French connection" is going to market it for sale over in Europe. Im having a week off to go to Spain this week then I will be back to finish my slicktop and get it off down to Emerald to be mapped.:thumbup1:
