na superchip
Well power/speed does cost money. the faster you wanna go the more money you need:cool3: next step is some tubular manifolds. Light weight under drive pulley. An ECU upgrade/chip will help all the little mods work better then you can think about a lightweight flywheel. time then to put in an uprated clutch.. lightweight one piece prop. That is about it for bolt on stuff.

na superchip
We have our own club/forum experts who socket ECUs and do chips to suit most cars on this forum. AndyP and John Dixon. Fitting a chip on its own will produce a little more power but really you need other modifations doing first to get the full benefit. IMO of course. 20-25bhp from a chip alone?? I dont think so.

Rear arches - sorry to start up ANOTHER thread on the issue
Ahem!! Lets start at the beginning then. The repair panels were originally designed and make as a joint venture between Mike at MJP and the fabricator in Yorshire. I believe Luke borg at Z Centre was involded to a degree also. Both Luke and Mike used to market the panels. some time ago the fabrictor decided to go it alone and dropped his agreements with Mike/Luke. So now they are sold through Ebay. the panels are. Arch repair, sill closer repair and inner sill repair. Last time I spoke to Mike feeney he still had an odd panel or two left. OK!

slicktop project
Here are a few more pics to tempt you Allan!!! Taken this moring before I got started on the dismantling. The colour(IMO) is fabulous. Needs a good wash tho. Interesting to see how the sunlight picks out the gold in the mix. Work well on the way now to remove the last bits from this one before putting it up for sale. Just need to clarify a few details with the boss. I have been underneath and its still very good with hardly are signs of corrosion.

slicktop project
Well another Monday and mayhem all over the M1 on my trim to Dan Turner,s workshops near Silverstone. I knew the day wasnt going to be good when I discovered at 8.00am this morning that the area where I live was all gridlocked and cordonned off by the police due to a fire in an industrial yard close by. It took me over half an hour to go 2 miles to get the trailer. As soon as I got on the M1 the tailbacks started, roadworks + accidents. The day ended in a result tho finally. The red beast is now secured in my mates yard ready for me to make a start tomorrow removing what Bob is keeping for the slicktop. (not a lot). So if anyone wants a really nice project to do based on this shell then it will soon be time to come n look. i was so tired by the time I got back that I forgot to take pics.... anyway here is a taster I took as I went past tonight. More tomorrow folks.

slicktop project
I just love working with fresh JDM imports. Everything undoes first time. No rust to be found..... im off to the Workshops near Silverstone to collect Bob's red rolling shell. Dan Turner and his guys are keeping all the engine /box and associated stuff and will install it all on the white slicktop when I deliver it, once I have finished the subframe/suspension work. Still got loads to do:helpsmilie:

AshspecZ Switchable program ECU and boost control
How sure are you????? Looking at his website its set up for 93 octane at best. Since He probably wont have access to any 99 ron fuel or ECUs or cars i doubt very much if he has done any work on Euro/UK/JDM spec cars. I personally dont see any advantage in using any US spec stuff like that over here. Maybe some else knows different??? If his Fan kit is anything to go by i would avoid alltogether(IMHO of course)
