They're coming!!
I was expecting to see more, I'm within spitting distance of the airfield atm. Just modern light aircraft coming in now.

They're coming!!
It must be August because they're all coming in to land ahead of weekend today. This is the sixth aviation relic that's passed in an hour.

What did you do to your zed today?
I reckon they know something's up. At Beaulieu this year JAE had a little stall and were intercepting people. Odd for a show to promote at another show.

Brakes for big toys
Be easier and cheaper to use the six pot units made by Brembo that Porsche/VW use. Bit front heavy though

This eBay ad made me chuckle...
That's weird I swear that's not what I wrote. Recon that was a typo, b and I are next to n and o. Should of said bit. (Which oddly even though spelt correctly, first go my phone changed to but. What!?)

Should I fit some welding tips to up the boost?
An MBC would allow you to dial in the boost and gradually turn it up or down as you so wished. Mine was about £15.

Apprantly you can run 12psi on the stock ECU. My advice would be not to though. The cost of having your ECU chipped is negligible in comparison to an engine. Also why limit yourself to 12psi when you could throw 14-16psi at it and get a boat load more grrr beans.

1994 300zx regular car reviews
Weird isn't it. They seem to like that kinda 70s look.

Suspension Cross Member 1993 Twin Turbo
Agreed. Wouldn't cost much to have it blasted and powder coated all nice and ready to go. They're normally alright due to oil leaks

This eBay ad made me chuckle...
Yeah it's that funny pearl white that goes cream. But of a marmite colour. Agreed with Andrew though it's not a lemon.

Not over priced, 6k is more like it. Looks a tidy honest car though. Not keen on the colours, in or out but hey that's just personal taste.

Get your roof off
Id be happy if it was worth taking it off the drive atm. Traffic is crazy everywhere. A two hour journey took four and a half today.

Not for me that. Badges should be OEM or absent in my opinion.

Rust inside the rear arch & brake pipes.
Onwards and upwards mate. Just make sure you cut out all the rot.

- Silverstreak to be broken up.
On the bright side at least you won't be getting anymore emails from the latest owners about the damn thing lol. Hope everything well mate, still got the merc?- Rust inside the rear arch & brake pipes.
You effectively built a condensation trap. That's actually how you'd get drinking water out of damp air in a survival situation lol- Rust inside the rear arch & brake pipes.
You got a long road there sadly. Good luck though. Nature of the beast really, old cars, a humid country and rust.- What did you do to your zed today?
Some play is normal with journal bearing turbos mate. They rely on the oil to create a floating effect, effectively hydrostatic pressure.- What did you do to your zed today?
Be interesting to see what the full extent of the damage is, turbos gotta come out for that. Be very careful about the oil feed. Could be the bearings failed/worn due to oil starvation and the shaft play that's resulted is the cause of the impeller damage. Obviously if your not 100% that enough oil is being presented, in the correct way of corse, you could end up killing the new turbos. Careful investigation and progression required. I spect you've already thought about this though, your not a dummy.- What did you do to your zed today?
That looks healthy, not. - Silverstreak to be broken up.
