300zx doing 186.5 mph
Get the right mods sorted (lots of them) and over 260mph is possible and done in a Z32. Remember this old gem;

Drive Tunnel/Rear Vibration 55mph+
That sounds like a proper solution.

tt runs lumpy and wont rev over 3k
Check your ECU codes, your describing Classic MAF fault symptoms.

Drive Tunnel/Rear Vibration 55mph+
Yup, quite a noticeable increase in volume. - - - Updated - - - Have you tried rotating the prop 180' a refitting?

Need guidance again 😕
You can't. If it's that uneven then you have another primary issue. This could be a simple vac leak, bad MAF or simply dirty/poor connections/contacts.

Sounds like you've got a few things to check here. Firstly the car needs to be at operating tempreture, secondly the TPS needs to be set (how to's are available). Once you filled those two you can then check the timing demand via conzult etc, this should say 15btdc, then you check the mechanical timing with the light and adjust via the CAS. You can then detach the idle valve plug on the engine and the idle will drop. Set mechanically to 650. Replugging will yield 750rpm.

Ali mate the stock car will do 170+mph at 280hp. It will take you a long time to get there but it will go there. Hopefully Nick will chime in but one or two of the guys have trapped 150+mph on top speed runs at TOTB etc, hopefully they can be more detailed. Even the mighty Veyron wouldn't be hitting it 250+mph top speed on a half mile strip they need that banked oval to set that speed.

Check chassis number, job done. Why the need to know and the rush? It makes very little difference most insures don't even care these days.

What did you do to your zed today?
Don't think they are here yet bud it'd still Tuesday.

Here finally!!
Agreed.

Here finally!!
Stolen recovered then I'd guess.

Here finally!!
Agreed rather ackward position for both parties. My hunch is it's a stolen car, if it was a write off the effort to repair would likely of been higher than ringing it. No real effort has been made to make a new identity, the firewall has simply had the chassis number ground off, not even a lick of paint to hide it. I very much doubt the law would be interested though, it's not going back now is it. Feel sorry for you Chris and really hope this hurdle is passed.

I think a long hard chat with the importer needs to occur, not that I'm saying it's his fault but as the importer some responsibility must be taken as you haven't really got what you paid for and imho your entitled to some form of compensation.

Lee dent visit
Does this mean your dolly is back in the pram then mate?

Have I got the wrong coilovers
They will always be lower than stock shocks. Don't forget the spring rate is likely much higher, so with the cars weight the shock will compress far less, ie if they were equal length uncompressed the stock shock would be lower. In short as Baz said stop messing about and fit them.

Decat fitting from elbow back... Bolt trouble
Because it separates the flow. Instead of turbine side air and waste gate side air mixing together is a malestorm you get get a smoother air flow. More air is able to pass due to reduced turbulence and therefore resistance. This is turn means less lag and greater flow.

Decat fitting from elbow back... Bolt trouble
So you just want some noise, bit Rice that mate. The spool and efficiency are the point, the extra noise is a trade off.

Decat fitting from elbow back... Bolt trouble
I'm a bit confused. Are you still using the stock turbo elbows? What decat/front pipe are you using?

Richie's "Blue Thunder" Build Thread!!
The track will likely change with how you've got that set up atm, until it's under tension from the upright the arc won't be true. So until it's fitted and on the floor your measurement is unlikely accurate or fixed.

Here finally!!
Yeah just an engine serial on the block, which is at the rear drivers side, bloody hard to see and doesn't really tell you anything useful. The Chassis number will start GCZ32 as its a lwb. Bit worrying this really. I really hope you manage to sort it out.
