  1. Tbh I actually find my spelling that bad on some words, which btw follows no specific pattern, spell check is useless. I get a no suggestions. Some of the words I can't spell are very basic. It's not a case of lazy or stupidity it's a case of utter blindness. I can sit there like a child to teach myself a word, only to forget it again next week. Some just will not retain. I also cannot read more than about three paragraphs without loosing track on what the first said. I need silence for this ideally. Reading a menu in a restaurant is incredibly difficult for this reason, so I often get my wife to pick for me. I can stare for a hour whilst everyone's chatting and shouting over each other, only to have not even read my options when it's time to choose. They say that reading is a very important part of learning to spell, this may explain the former issue. Most of the time I just read the words shape rather than its letters. So I miss my own typos like you wouldn't believe, just to compound the issue. Oh and btw I got English GCSE lit B and Lang C.
  2. ya can't teech stoopid.
  3. That's what mine was like, it's air I expect mate. Bled the ABS too yeah?
  4. Put it this way, if I'm doing domestic stuff I regularly walk straight past the zed and hop in the Skoda, it's easy going and comfy.
  5. Did the resivoir run dry Russ? If it did it's probably air in the master.
  6. On the actual subject. A z32 vs a new Audi TT. Well the Audi comes in a few performance outputs. The base model 220hp unit isn't particularly exciting, however if we're talking about the full fat version with nearly 300hp and a reported mid 4 second 0-60, a stock Z32 is going to come up short. But think how much it cost, both initially, in servicing and insurance. It's all personal preference and they're just not apples. I wouldn't want to use my z32 everyday, I'd take a new hatch over it for comfort and reliability all that sensible crap goes a long way. However at 5am on a summers morning and a deserted A road I'd be skipping straight past that base model Audi for the Z32.
  7. I assuming there's a variable resistor that reduces or increases in resistance. If that's failed either end of the scale. I suppose depending on how it's based you will get this. My money is on the speed converter. Bit of tinkering afoot I think.
  8. Sarcastic joke. Obviously didn't work out.
  9. The two requirements are not easily mutual. Simple and show tidy and original and feature loaded don't go hand in hand, not without extensive work. You COULD relocate the hicas rather than delete, same will all the rest but it will require some planning and customisation.
  10. Right is right Si, but marching around with your red pen being a self righteous dousche is something quite different. I'm being general here rather than targeted, before any one person gets upset.
  11. I too dislike the American obsession with grammar and spelling. Language is fluid, slang is speach and linguistic development, deal with it. Plus the fact they can't spell colour anyway.
  12. It's easy peasey, get the paint warm and take your time. Don't jump steps slowly work the lip down. Plenty of guides on YouTube etc.
  13. I use the nattys wax. Good stuff. I also use a liquid sealer from OCDetail, pretty good. http://www.ocd-tail.co.uk/category/sealants-waxes
  14. No no Dan it had shed loads of anti squat. Have you driven the car since replacing the subframe mounting bushes?
  15. Dan the z32 doesn't have a light rear end. The weight distribution is near perfect on 2+2s and slightly a few % heavier on 2+0s. The reason for poor off the line traction relates back to a large amount of anti squat built into the rear subframe assembly and the oil filled bushes it floats on. Plenty of info on Google. Sorry to spam your thread Bob. I notice you said to Ali you have the NA rear end, do mean an actual NA rear end or NA ratio, r200 diff and axels or an r230 with leader gears?
  16. Thanks for sharing Andrew, nice simple engineering. I'm sure if anyone wanted a set Jimmer would be able to create a set.
  17. There's a lot more Z's full stop in Yanky land. Also I'm not sure if your aware but all US spec twin turbos were swb, and lwb were NA. Hence there thing out lwb's or 2+2s as they call them, it's almost a different car to them. Obviously UK spec were all lwb two turbo, when grey imports started a lot of people would of liked to pretend they paid full whack and had a UK spec car, a swb would should this up and explains maybe the lower numbers imported here. As for slick tops they were the cheap version, so at the time if you can have the full spec twin turbo Lwb auto for a good price why would you buy the poverty spec so to speak. History and the laws of supply and demand have changed this.
  18. It's only a spacer plate, no reason you can't adapt it to adjust for more. But I get what your saying. When I had a 25mm drop at front I had no correction at all and it was acceptable camber wise, so I'd say you could get away with more than a 20mm drop, 25 year old stock springs could sag nearly that much.
  19. This would be my suggestion, unless your going LOW or want to regularly change camber you don't really need adjustable upper arms.
  20. That sucks, hopefully an easy fix. We have had some very warm weather. Just keep me posted. - - - Updated - - - Magaluf? - - - Updated - - - So you did, my mistake.
  21. Cool, see you there. I'm not going to make a separate list for it because A I think it will confuse and B I expect a fair few will change their mind as and when they wake up late etc. I realise for some people an 8am arrival on a Sunday is pretty early, esp if your travelling from further a field. - - - Updated - - - You could still attend as a spectator Alice.
  22. OK go!
  23. Right this is the current list. As you can see theres quite a few people now attending from across the three clubs. All members must be on site and in positition at Beaulieu Motor Museum by 9.30am at the latest. For arrival arrangements there are two options. Please use the entrance marked "Simply Japanese Additional Entrance" this is on he other side of the village on B3054, the main entrance will NOT open until 9am. Either arrive casually and be parked up as it suits you before 9.30am. or There is a Rally point to catch up and join the convoy which will depart at 8.15am from The Applemore Tesco, the address for that is as follows; Sizer Way, Dibden, Southampton SO45 5JA If I could request those that do wish to be in this group are present for 8am as we will be leaving at 8.15am sharp, if your late and the convoy has left then I do apologise but we have alot of cars to get into the site, plese make your way to the showground. Im sure it doesnt need to be said but Tesco have never moaned at us using this as a collection point, the store is closed at this time but any anti social driving and behaviour could jeapordise this option in future. DONT be a plank. Equally as previously mentioned its a 40mph limit most of the way with livestock everywhere so please stick to this whilst were in convoy, the clubs dont need any unwarrented attention. I am still awaiting confirmation on these vechile club passes, I can only assume these will be generic print out affairs similar to what we did off our own back last year.
