this is just outta range for me :(
  4. that will be it then did it run ok till warm then run like crap? the timing changes once warmed up. and its slightly different on a manual to an auto.
  5. have you adjusted the timing?
  6. yeh boost leak, check the 4 big pipes to start with. pretty common,
  7. well ive just fitted mine its def about 10mm longer than the oem one. it certainly didnt seem to feel like it was fouling. and i cant really see how it would hit the crank or con rods, in that position. :/
  8. use this find out.. :D http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
  9. im starting to really like this car liked it before but its getting better :D
  10. i believe you are, however its probally related to your tyre size. plus havent you just had a rebuild, with some tricks? so likley the engine will be working less to achive the same speed.
  11. cracked water expansion bottle. does it drip out down infront of the wheel? obviously the system warms up chucks out a little water and teh water thats in the expansion bottle pushes the water thats in there out. with a crack or split it pours out prematurly.
  12. have you tried leaving it with the alarm off? could be the seperate alarm battery is toast and sapping the system? your gonna have to start pulling fuses and seeing what happens.
  13. do a compression test, you probally split a coolant hose and its loost the coolant then overheated. the compression test will confirm weather the block is still air tight, i would recon that you have probally warped the head in the process hence the sound. but you gotta look into it. any signs of head gasket failure? smeg in the oil or black oily plugs? where abouts do you live mate?
  14. page 5..... must try harder :(
  15. i swear i saw this car on the back of a flat bed in southern england what about a month or so back. looked almost identical had to look twice as to what it was.
  16. agreed with dave lower but pull it forward, to be flush. i wish i could just throw my front plate in the bin.
  17. uk ones and jap ones are made of different materials as al said. after acertain date the uk ones changed. you cars uk spec iirc? just throw a magnet on it if it sticks its iron if not well its ali :)
  18. yeh i know, i should work it out. here are the stats and tyre sizes. i think they will fit pretty well and fill teh arches with minimal spacing. Rear are 9jj e38 with 255/40/17/94y falcon 452 Fronts are 8jj e35 with 215/45/17/87y falcon 452 are teh fronts a little too narrow? and will that difference in profile make much difference to the speedo etc.
  19. yes you do but if you would like to shae pictures with us of this car, for club reasons you knwo just to show us and not with an intent to sell theres nothing wrong with that :D
  20. worth checking for your leccy seats. i dunno how much power they use but it must be alot, mine got jammed on the down setting a while back drained my battery overnight before i realised what it was, i stood on it getting in on a tight driveway. bloody thing
  21. could always get some drain rods and a ballon and push them through till the little bugger runs out the other side. either that or send a terrier down there
