  1. turns out it has its own red light, and yup i do need my liecence for work, ive just done an awareness corse for an sp30 and ive got 3 points alrady for cu30 :( sucks. so basically i think it now comes down to wether the camera works. most dont these days, so fingers crossed. dunno why im getting them all atm.
  2. dont think that will work lol im not blonde
  3. might of just picked up another bloody traffic offence. but i dunno what do you guys think... i was at a cross roads controlled by cameras, theres 3 lanes at my junction a staright on a left and a right. the straight on is the one with a red light the left and rights only have a green arrow that comes up at other times. i went through on my turn right only lane when the light was green for straight on. into the box ahead for turn right. trouble is there is a camera here. and as i went through my gf said should you have gone through then? and tbh im really not sure if i should have. bit stressed out now. simple mistake possibly could cause alot of agro, or it may not be an issue at all its the waiting thats a killer.:cursing:
  4. Changed the rad cap back to the oem one guess what very luttle water loss. :) I did have a hunch thats where it was going cheers jeff. Any everyone else for there suggestions
  5. one that goes across the back window like asunstrip kinda thing that says FairladyZ. simular to whats on the old celicas? could be cool
  6. Well sort the temp sensor first, if its crappy, and what colour was the crap? Sounds like you need to work thriugh the usual suspects first
  7. if it isnt the fuse they usually fill up with water :) give them a dry out and clean up the connections, the mount is the earth, so clean that too. :)
  8. lol mine handled realy well after id "fixed" it lol by stuffening it up and lowering it. it mostly undeersteerd interestinly. and over steer was well abit of a handfull. lol
  9. well rather naughtilty i dint bother to top it up yesterday ive driven about 15 miles on it and its no different. hrm. the expansion tank howevr is accumilating water, its got a reading in there now albiet low so i think as you suggest groover tahts where its going.
  10. lol fan shroud will be er modified then in that case... for cosmetic reasons. im fillin it to bottom of the filler neck. it drops about half an inch from that.
  11. they wont do it and if they do it wont be retro enough, it will be like the cougar. they did threaten to bring out a new transam which would make sense based on the whole camero firebird relationship but general motors have killed of pontiac. :( poor shame
  12. they also did a "rs2000" that shape piece of shite. id love a mk1 or 2 but they are now well out my price range and definatly too expensive and treasured to be throwing around in the way id want to drive it lol.
  13. dogs got four legs therefore only ran 1.5 miles on each pair of legs. thats your answer :/
  14. i removed my front tints a few months back best thing i ever did :) looks better and the car is so much more drivable
  15. anyone else cheers for that jaikai, gguess i just keep an eye on the top up for now
  16. sure its steam? i get a little puff round here looks like ciggarete smoke, its actually the rocker covers driping oil down onto the turbos and manifolds. when i go for a longer drive theyre hot enough to burn it off instantly rather than just smolder, plus i think the metal expands and seals the seal tighter :) hope that helps. try seeing what if anything drips out the engine bay.
  17. i fitted my new japspeed rad the other weekend and after its first two drives, ive noticed to issues. firstly i seem to loose about 1/4 of a litre of coolant both times, toppd it up the first time. :s can i assume that given that im not experiencing any drips.( i put a piece of noteboard paper under the car to check over night no green dots) that was both running and cold. can i assume that im not leaking? my thoerys are either : im still getting air out the system, ive only covered about 30 miles so far, with the temp set on max. : or that its over flowing into the emptied expansion bottle and not coming back. (i havent actually checked to see wether its gone green in there.) my other issue is i refitted the fan shroud ina short of fashion as it no longer fits, there are only two mounts on the japspeed. and its slightly wider so the shroud wont strecth across :( so it drops and hits the fan making a noise and melting the shroud and blades, not cool. what have others done about this?? do i even need it now ive got the bigger rad?
  18. could alwsy instal an aftermarket revlimiter or fit a different chip.
  19. there should be a rev limiter in built in the car most chips will raise that.
  20. see i was thinking about this thread today and back to mikeys one about rpm. now these chips that allow you to rev that high without a rev limit is taht good, i dont think it is. peek torque and bhp would be reached at what 5.5k to 6k revs. so going into the 8s is not only dangerous to the internals of the engine its fairly pointless???
  21. no idea what this was all about however ive had the car up to pressure and left it for three days to see any leaks, not so much as a drop. whoop.
  22. ha now now bazza. dont go swearing at new people :P
  23. one word money. the goveremnt wants us all to buy brand new cars to make money
