The cost of upgrading your zed just went up
There's some truth to this tbh. A company who is USD based purchasing from a Chinese manufacturer... Brexit hasn't actually occurred yet, currently currency variations are a reaction to instability in the market and investment in various currencies. I'm sure we all understand how this trading works. The USD is strengthing at the moment as the current president is seen as more pro buisness than his former. Brexit is a pretty small factor in global currency markets at present. Much bigger fears could cause a complete upturn in values.

Since I don't smoke or drink coffee and I need to drink litres of water each day. I've taken up water/forum breaks.

Manifold headers or art
As a complete observational guess. I recon theres a pre cat in the stock ones. The runners are longer on the aftermarkets which iirc changes the power band to a more Top end focused delivery. Your right though, the stock ones are a world away from many other cars, the M6 was a bloody expensive car though I spose. Non M badge V8 models are quite affordable now, but not the same thing as the M.

Did you apply lubricant to the cams prior to assembly?

Car park space bandits !!
If I could share my parking photos today you'd laugh. Why some people just ignore the lines is beyond me. Wives car has been hit twice in car parks recently and they drove off, does my head in.

I wouldn't worry about the wood  you can always replace it.

Crank Pulley - Any tips for removal?
Have you used the old shock tactic?

Misfire...Again.
Agreed. I could be done but I wouldn't want to do it or have it done. The plenum needs to be removed, semi sealed and argon purged then welded and the rear face ground back. To do it properly. At which point replacement is a far better idea, esp as you've been offered one for free. It's going to be more time consuming than expensive. The upper plenum gaskets aren't expensive.
-
Misfire...Again.
Whoops. Oh well these things happen. Time to pull the plenum and do the job properly. Have you considered changing to a set of late spec pintless injectors? They are better and in NA form quite available.
-
Misfire...Again.
Have you cut though the plenum.

Brembos - GTR or not???
That's it yeah, the difference between stock rears and the brembo rears from a GTR is pretty minimal. No need to switch to the brembo rears with the R33 gtr or Z33 fronts to retain bias.

Brembos - GTR or not???
Some confusion going on here.

Misfire...Again.
It's incredible how cheap half decent tools are getting, good ones you've still got to pay for but the mid range stuff is so much better than it once was. - - - Updated - - - Richie is your car an NA?

Brembos - GTR or not???
Yup the mounting bolts are thicker. The threaded portion is on the caliper. Join 350z-uk and speak to Zmalex I think his name is (he's a breaker) sort you out no doubt.

Misfire...Again.
The one I've used everyday for work for the last four years, it's reasonably priced and seems well made. No complaints about it, not just some old tat. The Philex 83001R. Pick them up on clearance for about a £10, they are about £20 in the shops. Even sell them in Argos
-
Brembos - GTR or not???
They're are virtually identical brakes.

Brembos - GTR or not???
You won't balls that up. You managed to dress yourself this morning right? We're talking about running a drill bit through a hole. The present hole will guide you straight. If your that worried buy 4 drill bits and go up in 0.5mm steps. With the savings you could pay someone else to fit the damn things and still becquids in.

It's all gone terribly wrong in France!!
Mate, just get it home. Doesn't matter much after that does it. If it's a simple a split hose, which it really could be you can sort that. Enjoy what's left of your holiday and deal with this inconvenience later.
