  1. Mr Tumble. Kanye West. Gordon Brown. Diane Abbott. Haemorrhoids. No particular order.
  2. If you wanted top dollar this was always the case.
  3. Saw this on Japolink this morning. It's a very specific car in near perfect condition. Although if the top moves it should push the middle. I wonder how long we will wait to see the first $100k+ Z32.
  4. I didn't know kids still did this. Lads at my school used to pinch all four off your car, keep two for there bike then sell the other two to another slightly more honest (less brazen) kid for couple of quid. Gave them some money for sweets, fags etc. I didn't think enough of these little snowflakes went outside to still pull this trick.
  5. Pretty much yeah. If it starts going north it's all a bit late.
  6. Just so you are aware the dash water temperature gauge is a stepper motor. It effectively has three modes, cold, correct and overheating. So just because you see no rise from centre is not an indication of the temperature being correct, rather that it's not hot the threashold to display that it's overheating.
  7. In fairness your unit appears to have about 400k watts of flouresant tubes in it, the natural sunlight that far south is about 400xs brighter which helps.
  8. That bad ey? I spose the phrase "doing it Irish" had to come from somewhere...
  9. Similar to the Irish way it seems.
  10. Don't think you will get a 265 on them.
  11. Remove the battery and inspect the lower (exhaust) cam cover, the seal is made of sealant rather than a proper gasket and as such is prone to leak over time.
  12. There's some truth to this tbh. A company who is USD based purchasing from a Chinese manufacturer... Brexit hasn't actually occurred yet, currently currency variations are a reaction to instability in the market and investment in various currencies. I'm sure we all understand how this trading works. The USD is strengthing at the moment as the current president is seen as more pro buisness than his former. Brexit is a pretty small factor in global currency markets at present. Much bigger fears could cause a complete upturn in values.
  13. Bonjourno from Milan. :D
  14. I heard it was due to pubic indecency.
  15. Since I don't smoke or drink coffee and I need to drink litres of water each day. I've taken up water/forum breaks.
  16. As a complete observational guess. I recon theres a pre cat in the stock ones. The runners are longer on the aftermarkets which iirc changes the power band to a more Top end focused delivery. Your right though, the stock ones are a world away from many other cars, the M6 was a bloody expensive car though I spose. Non M badge V8 models are quite affordable now, but not the same thing as the M.
  17. Did you apply lubricant to the cams prior to assembly?
  18. If I could share my parking photos today you'd laugh. Why some people just ignore the lines is beyond me. Wives car has been hit twice in car parks recently and they drove off, does my head in.
  19. Is it not like an arrow with all that weight up front?
  20. I wouldn't worry about the wood  you can always replace it.
  21. Agreed. I could be done but I wouldn't want to do it or have it done. The plenum needs to be removed, semi sealed and argon purged then welded and the rear face ground back. To do it properly. At which point replacement is a far better idea, esp as you've been offered one for free. It's going to be more time consuming than expensive. The upper plenum gaskets aren't expensive.
