Badger is the worst thing you can hit bar a cow. Deer are all gangly and go rolling bouncing off. Badgers are stocky at the wrong height. They tend to jam in under the car ripping your car apart. Don't mess with badgers lol.

To put your mind at rest turbo failure either gives you dark blue smoke on boost or white vapour like smoke at warm idle, potentially on the over run too. If it was an isolated one off bluesy black sotty burst I wouldn't worry too much.

I doubt it, turbo smoke is normally rev related not speed.

the powered steering goes all along the drivers side, if it pops on a hot engine it will steam/smoke. Also do you know when the last time the car was actually driven driven, it might just be crap blowing out and the hicas/ps issue is separate. check that fluid level first bud, it fixes lots f hicas issues.

Check the power steering fluid level sounds like a fluid line has gone pop.

I wasn't actually going to go down that route, although your obviously aware of my feelings. What I wanted to achieve was to get a general feeling of what the average was, get some brains thinking without having to say anything, planting a seed if you will. I know your in support of anything that improves our club and scene generally, I consider you a very fair sort of chap :D So getting back on topic, whos using their car and who is sadly isn't.

I do tend to agree with Alan here, the matter has been dealt with by the committee the verdict delivered and the "offender" banned. I think were all aware of the situation and I think the matter should be discontinued as things like this usually are. I feel sorry for both parties.
