  1. Then you need to take the car along and have an alignment done buddy. Is it stock hieght or lowered?
  2. Yes but not massively. There's an elliptical bolt/washer that controls the camber angle.
  3. Is this the full fat engine back in, or the spare?
  4. Nope, because of where pushing from. The intake/ accordion pipes are directly linked to the cam cover with no such non return. 5psi is the recommended pressure as static pressure is different in any event to running conditions. Z1 pressure test at 10psi and blank that front breather to prevent the issue.
  5. You will also be applying pressure to the cam covers via breather system and the I spose the entire oil filled engine in the process though mark, which could potentially not be very good for cam seals and all those little bits and bobs, hence why they say 5psi, this should be enough to spot the leaks esp with the soapy water trick on board :D
  6. I keep saying I want to go to ace café then not going lol.
  7. That's why I had the sense to keep my stock recircs, I knew I'd get bored of dumps sooner or later. It hasn't happened yet though lol.
  8. I'd like a read of that second one, an in detail explanation ofvwhy they revived the z liniage after all those years with something so far behind the previous. It should have been closer to the quality and performance of the current skyline.
  9. I was always under the impression that you shouldn't pressure over 5psi mark as it can cause damage and that any leak even if its in the vacuum side is bad as a vac leak would allow in in metres air that could cause a lean mix
  10. As above be carefull not to put more than say 5psi through it aswel. Some soapy water does wonders to find the niggly ones.
  11. The lower arm is often the limiting factor in wheel width. Those are the same.
  12. There's no hicas so there's no need for a delete kit. It weighs less. The diff ratio is different theoretically giving you quicker acceptation but less top end, remember traction is a limiting factor here. Disadvantages, weaker drive shafts, higher rpm at a given speed, requirement to mess with the speedo to get the correct speed.
  13. That's what fairy is for haha! But seriously that sucks.
  14. Scrap em they're worth a few bob and use that to fund some decats.
  15. That depends on how it's achvied, 500hp in one lump that requires a mile straight to build the boost is useless. 400hp that arrives in the right place and on demand instantly is going to be more fun and more useable. In the real world it could make a faster car, that's an extreme example.
  16. Thanks for sharing Si, the scene out there really seems a winner. Weath of information from the 3zc guys.
  17. Lol I see what your saying but that's pretty disassembled, what I meant was you can't just remove the cam cover and pop some new ones on lol.
  18. It would seem to me mate that the stem seals are faulty atm, that's characteristic that they will weep over a relaxed time then clear as the car drives. This may not have been the original issue but simply a background one. Sadly to get to them you have to disassemble the head to access them. :( As for the above discrepancies I cannot comment I'am not an expert mechanic. However the way its running tends to suggest jeff is correct, if it had had sand go though it wrecking seals and bearings you'd most likely have poor compression and excessive blow by.
  19. What are those wheels on the red one again sorry? Anniversary? What model z33?
  20. The first time my cat back came off I paid some other smuck, I cut one bolt it pinged off and set fire inside my overalls that was about the point I decided the £50 labour was worth it lol.
  21. Iirc they are slightly different using 6 bolt drive shafts like the r230 diff from the tt
