  1. Oh that's a given, but at least the road is actually there in the first place.
  2. Exactly right. They do like to line their own pockets first. Bournemouth whilst larger than its neighbouring City Southampton has been denied it's city status. The reason for this? Some archaic thing about cathedrals? Nope, it's to do with dual constituencies. Many of them would earn less money as they wouldn't be able to take there current two payslips. The fact that the "city" would far better off financially isn't in their radar. They would rather spend £70k on a blue Las Vegas style welcome to bmth sign, over the top of the over stretched pot holed dual carriageway, nice one dickeads.
  3. You gotta bear in mind simon the government themselves couldn't give s rats arse about the south and South west. Out of sight out of mind. Look at the motorway network, everything facilitates London and the middle north. There's no motorways in Dorset, not one. Bristol takes me twice the time to reach as London. This isn't a coincidence. As long as Johnny fat cat can get from his head office in London to his offices up north, full of civil servants, he doesn't give a damn that your hick ass gets stuck in traffic on a poorly maintained road. After all as one wealthy chap explained to me a while back, "no one lives in the countryside, everyone lives and works here in London." Even the m4 and m5 that tickle these areas, the soca (English FBI) head quarters are in Exeter and think what's in Swansea...
  4. If you do end up in bmth then il pop round with mine aswel, I only live a few streets away for hellraiser. Always fancied a look at that car.
  5. I do agree, however bear in mind what's been in the uk press this week. 20% of serious accidents involve the under 25s and they therefore wish to implement a higher age restriction on the test as well as curfews. As the as spokes man said you cannot blame them, if they passed the criterior for your test, your test is not adequate. Personally I think it's likely a gross misuse of statistics. I see ALOT of accidents and I mostly just see people, no perticular age range or sex. However and this is where it's topical the amount if stupid accidents is unbelievable. This does, as with the other things I see suggest to me that the average British driver is ifs poor standard. Our road network is in thirty very safe. One theory is maybe our roads are a bit too safe, which breeds complacency and stupidity. Think how often you see someone do something and go, you shouldn't be driving!
  6. Without too much detail, hicas only really helps in an over taking or salom scenario. When we talk about corners not so much. Sadly it creates excessive play often, equally many find it a bit dim witted. You tend to react quicker that it does and an over correction occurs. It's personal choice in all fairness, but most Motorsport focused z32s have deleted it.
  7. I love it, that's why I like lambo. Not these mercilargos, galardos etc but the mental ones, proper hyper cars.
  8. With that profile Dave? Pretty sure they have a bit more sidewall.
  9. Yeah there should be a sub harness on the new manual shell, if there isn't you will have to use the old converted one.
  10. I bet they are shit! That's a super super wide wheel, I think the widest I've ever seen on a sports car is 310. With that profile and being 24" I honestly can't imagine what car would use them standard.
  11. The alternator harness, which includes the startner cables are different. Either mod the auto one (easy) you can look at mine if you want to see how it's done, easier to see things in real life in my opinion. Or swap over the harness, if you've got the engine out already that should be easy.
  12. http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator
  13. I would really stick to proper branded tyres mate, if your on a budget go for falken a or toyos. Pretty good for the monies. 245 up front is pretty wide on a road based car aswel you may find it tracks more than you would like. To work out your offset you want take a tape Measure and measure from the compressed hub face to the distance from the arch you want. Obviously the midde of the wheel is 0 the +\- refers to the distance the rear face of the wheel(the mounting surface) is away from the centre line. What wheels you looking at mate?
  14. School boy error!
  15. Think it was mostly financial, he got into 4x4s and things, too much wrapped up in it to sell as a whole. Same old story really.
  16. Piss off, hahaha London and me don't mix. I'm a country boy, I get road rage on my feet in London and I can't stand well any of it. As I said to my mate earlier in in the West Country so I'm happy with that at least, just bored.
  17. Where do you live mate?
  18. Dawn French isn't a virgin. There's all kinds of people out there.....
  19. I was also always a fan of it, real shame lots got removed, but I understand why it was. I agree with Si though, those rear lights need taking off.
  20. I've got a cc installed. Stage 2 maybe, single plate. Heavy, but strong as bull.
  21. I think your onto something there with the hobby I can carry around... If I'd have been in my zed I would have been terrorizing Torquay lol, then you would have seen one :) I'm down here fairly frequently though.
  22. No idea, is this the car you got from baz? If so that's probably who is ask. Is the red ones shell shot then? Shane you've not have one running, this summers been pretty active in our area.
  23. Saw the yellow one the other day, two guys looking at it, looks like it's got a set of works alloys on it aswel. I wonder if I saw you then last week on the way to Portsmouth. Seems to be a fair few in haunts now.
  24. Ahhhh, Barry's bodge shop :p Sounds like you will have to get on with it, space is tight generally as you know. With things like that it's often best to give it over night and come back to it, you will be much faster and less stressed.
