  1. I'm up near you tomorrow actually Si. Only for the morning though got a job in west Dorset in the afternoon.
  2. Mid and north wales are beautiful, as is Cornwall and the wilds of Scotland, quite similar topography I think is the word. So many people go "oh Britains shit, no nice bits" those people have obviously never explored the bits that haven't been ruined are amazing.
  3. TBF I haven't been there for about 10 years. Remember that phrase, "that sh!t is Newport" meaning it's grotty lol.
  4. Do you love all of Wales? I bet there's a place or two you don't :p
  5. Is this the American reporter who declared that Birmingham is a no go area for whites? I've been to Birmingham once or twice :whistling: it is probably my second least favourite place in the whole country. I think I'm quite open about my number one most disliked place. I think tbh though there is a quite a list of places I really don't like, not just in England. The trouble is I'm spoilt where I live, it's genuinely one of the nicest parts of the country, it's got some rubbish bits like everywhere but from the villages in the Far East of the new forest right down through the various towns and villages all the way to lands end are some fantastic views and beautiful little places. Heavy population densities always bring grime and unsanitary grimness. Human beings are a dirty creature, the more of them there are in one place generally the worse of a place it is, sad but true. I like fresh clean air, deserted woodland and beaches. I get to go all over the place and I'm always glad to come "home" even if the part I live in isn't the creme de la creme it's still pretty alright.
  6. How does this work when your buying second hand goods from over seas, say you went to buy a set of injectors from the states how can the government differentiate between a gift and a purchased good? I never pay import from china but have been stung from America before.
  7. Wicked I'm going to do mine as well.
  8. My belief is that the more shows in an area the better, you might not get record attendance at a particular event but the freedom of choice for people is good. Maybe some people are working over the JAE period etc. As Gary says send your REO a PM he might be unaware of that particular event, there not all very well promoted, if he doesn't know he can't know to arrange it.
  9. I would also love to hire that :)
  10. I think the change to the fuchsia pink belts like the pic you sent me earlier is a bold choice Si, but it's your car.
  11. The numbers are dropping, prices are in the rise, we've been saying it for a while now. Winter is where you might get lucky a pick up that bargain with someone who thinks it's only an old jap car with buttons but with the likes of ebay these days those are rarer. The better examples will sell in summer when they can get good money for them, there mostly wrapped up safe and dry right now. I think the scrapping of a zed for a rusty arch days are numbered, if you've got one already look after it because in ten years you might not want to pay for another.
  12. I'd love to use the front stock ones as rears, mostly for ascetics really. The ways I've seem this done though it looks gash. Then there's brake balance issues etc etc. Headaches.
  13. It's alright buddy, I know how easy it is to mis read or mis write things. A voice changes the meaning of things at times.
  14. Lots if info out there on this, I was going to swap to scooby rear brembos for that reason, decided against it.
  15. Yeah as Noel says I think you have misread what I was saying, or maybe I haven't explained myself properly?
  16. Is he a mate? As in like the work will be done for beer tokens? I'm sure in your line of work you know plenty of coded pipewelders. If that's the case it's just a question if speaking your mate, telling him what you want and letting him crack on.
  17. Yeah, I like that. I was a bit dubious in the mid stage il admit. The transition between rear arch and door put me off, however now the primer is on it blends FAR better and reveals itself as a complete line. Top notch stuff and currently I'd say the best wide arch I've seen.
  18. You need a kit for 2.5" intercooler piping, z1 and others sell these. Then you will mostly likely need to custom make the portion that converts from SMIC to FMIC, as far as I'm aware no one makes an on the shelf kit for what your asking. Making the kit yourself from 2.5" tube will require lots of fabrication time and the ability to weld. Simply coupling up sections of tube with silicone couplers every few inches will create nightmares for generations, think of all those potential leak points. Again as far as I'm aware a 3" version isn't available or required. 2.5" intake kits are what has been designed and made by the expert tuners. - - - Updated - - - Didn't you say mark is doing the work for you?
  19. A PM? If you want mate, you can pop over, next weekend should be ok. Then we can work through the things suggested if your not comfortable doing them on your own and perform a boost leak test as well.
  20. I dunno If you will be able to on your turbos, but I can slip my arm down by the brake master with a few things removed and do it up with a screw driver. Corse it also depends wether the person who fitted it originally though about it, and didn't go putting it backwards round the back or some annoying configuration.
  21. Yeah does my head in that. The chap I use is very fair and mallows me to use the time it's in the air to have a good visual inspection myself. He knows I'm a touch fussy.
  22. Pressure gauge and a pump with an attachment. Apply pressure and you will soon see it open.
