Sorry, gt600r's is what I was meaning not that that's what the turbo is called, whatever vendors want to call them garret 2560's those ones. Can't pick them up new from a turbo shop down the road for ~£600 each then I'd have to faff about but yeah.

Ouch, I'm glad you relieved that Noel the gt600rs where on my shopping list, think I just took them off. I had heard rumours there had been issues with them as well but that just about sealed it.

Couldn't agree more Richard, morality and legality are far from the same that's a fact many people have forgotten. I think it's quite possible though that we've become too safe, too soft and too complacent. Let's face it despite the constant cries that driving is highly dangerous and it kills more people than aliens and coconuts combined each year we all do it everyday pretty harmlessly. I drive a lot of miles for work and cover all kinds of roads, the main without a doubt cause of accidents I see is stupidity and ignorance. Speed may be a factor because it amplifies the situation but the route cause is normally stupidity. For example sonething I see as a near miss regularly on motorways, your driving down the middle lane, indicate and pull out into the outside lane suddenly there's a car there honking or crashing into you. That's his fault because he was coming down the outside lane at 85 right? No, it's your fault because you didn't follow the very first thing you were taught, mirror, signal and manorve the mirror ie looking was left out and the signal manoeuvre was one thing, it's lazy and it's dangerous but so many do it. Buses do this a lot, just because you are indicating doesn't mean you can go, it might not be safe you must check... We are all human we all make mistakes, it's that human error that causes the issue. Speed doesn't kill, neither do guns or even nuclear war heads what kills is the inevitable stupidity of a human being or three. We are all quick to point out that x person is a criminal or y person is an idiot but many of us are nearly critical enough of our actions that could end up in the same scenario. Sod the speed kills campaign or the drink drive campaign we only need one "don't be a silly **** and do that thing that's obviously a crap idea" campaign. I Spose you could shorten it down to a more PC "take time to think" or "think more". One day I hope society as a whole will come back from the finger pointing to the don't be a bellend stance and law with it.

Often doing up the clips fixes it temporarily, should keep you going till you need to take the plenum of.

Think you would need more facts before saying that really, they might have been booked at 5am or entering a 30 from a national etc as you know its not as clear andsimple as it always appears.

You could call turbo technics and ask them they keep records etc, I expect they would be very interested to discover that that's in there if its fake...

That's about 10 minutes from my house, they've reverted back to a signal camera now due to public pressure. Loads of stupid changes recently, the main dual carriageway into bmth drops to 40 there was huge public out cry over it, so they just covered the camera up...they have also reduced the Dorset way to 50 for some unknown reason, it's mostly industrial and retail parks either side or open fields :s and boy oh boy do they enforce it, parking the scammer vans on the slip road so you can't see them till you have past. But it's ok because you will be virtually guaranteed to be offered the £110 education corse.

Someone round this way has been towing them with a bit if chain I suspect so they are left taking photos of the sky, a lot more subtle. Be hilarious to see all the photos of seagulls turning up. Speedos inevitably, esp on New cars read about 3mph or so higher. So if you get booked at 77 you were likely doing a Speedo indicated 80 or more. We all break these laws and when you do your normally in full knowledge you've done it. Yeah its petty but its our choice to speed, just don't speed its quite clear really and if you do be a man about it and admit its your fault alone. Sometimes they are sneeky and that annoys me, but if the posted limit is 70 and your doing 80 why expect to not be caught? You are breaking the law at the end of the day wether the law is right or just isca seperate issue.

Not necessarily Si, they do give you 10% but that can be it, inclusive. I know a guy recently booked for 33mph under the current Dorset no excuses programme, I asked him about about his 10% and he explained he asked he same thing and was informed that was his 10% and tat it was inclusive ie he was speeding. It varies from region to region, not much conformity in these things.

As above, as baz says. 3ft long extension will get you there and you can get them finger tight from the top. Alternatively I leave the elbows off and the starter off this then gives clearance to bear hug the bell housing, then a ratchet spanner does them up. I can at a stretch reach round and do the passenger side one from the drivers side. The hardest bit doing it this way is getting the box and the engine to mesh up smoothly, I've found through multiple car adventures the use of some longer bolts to jiggle and pull it in works wonders. Have you got a proper clutch alignment tool, as apposed to a wiggle it with a stick till it looks right method? If not I've got a z one in my tool box somewhere which you can borrow but il need it back fairly soon. If if seem your post earlier I would have walked round the corner and given it to you as I was at my in laws this avo.
