  1. I've taken up gardening and listen to radio 4. I don't need anymore grown up pursuits.
  2. You could always move the PTU under the nose so it's no longer visible to be ugly. However as Pete points out it's more connections to cause issues. I also have a series 1, currently it works. If it stops il replace it with another undesirable cheap series 1.
  3. That's not true Pete, there are virtually no bother when parked up and switched off.
  4. Jesus I forgot how high they were stock.
  5. Let me know about postage, which il of corse cover. Thanks very much il PM you the address in a tick.
  6. Few alignment issues to fix yet, really not convinced on how far back the rear wheel is sitting. Can't sort the camber out properly without causing grief with the bolt that holds the rear bumper on. Thoughts? Also the centre of the cat back is virtually on the floor...some massing required there I think. Seems crazy how little stops the exhaust swinging around, which I can actually feel now because the cars rock hard.
  7. That was about to be my next question. Just goes to show though you do get iffy ones, even garrett ones occasionally. It sucks but at least it's just a failed seal, imagine if it had gone pop. Look on the bright side and all. Equally it's better it happen in the right hands than at a later date. No doubt jimmer will sort it out.
  8. No, it's definitely not just you. You go through stages, no one single thing breaks. Was that a new turbo?
  9. Where have you been hiding?
  10. That was concise and informative. Both good things.
  11. Good stuff. Hopefully il get to run mine at the pod this year, at which point il post up results and see how I can improve, a lot is mostly likely going to be the answer haha.
  12. Well done Pete. Don't suppose you got any pictures? What were your E.T and terminals, if that's the correct terminology.
  13. Hi guys, I'm after the lid off a BM57 nabco master cylinder. I'm going to be drilling a hole in it so I'm after just the lid nice a cheap. Cheers.
  14. They were at silver stone yesterday for sure as I saw them myself.
  15. Out of interest who is machining the valve seats for you?
  16. If you get an answer I have no doubt it will be very interesting. My heads are from as far as I can tell a late spec NA.
  17. I did wonder lol. I have a set of 10Y heads here which are the same essentially just without the tt valves. I'm not parting with them though. I found this for you, you may have already read it; http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=225271&highlight=Oversize+valves
  18. I'm glad that's not the type of plate we have, it's like a damn telephone number it's so long lol.
  19. You had sunshine last night?
  20. Have you used the search function about this on 300zxclub.com? Lots more information of this type there than here. Purely because there are so many more high powered zeds.
  21. I have had the thin blue halfords cover, not so great. It wasn't remotely water proof and fell apart after a year. I now have the more expensive grey one, which I'm very impressed with. Proper clip buckles and made if a strong water proof breathable fabric. I have torn it once but was through roughness. I purchased a small I think or maybe a medium. It fits very snugly leaving the rockers and lower portions of the bumpers exposed. Il have a look for the box later see what size it was.
