Few parts for sale
Just a list if bits I've accumulated over last winters refurb. It's all used so I can't say any of it's mint or perfect or otherwise and I need the space more than the spare parts. A few quid wouldn't go a miss either after recent activities. Hopefully the price is reasonable. Stock pair Front upper arms £15 Stock pair Rear upper arms £15 Stock pair of front Tension rods with ES polybushes installed a few years ago £30 (sold) Ebay adjustable Front upper arms, big chunky things £30 Pair of SWB hand brake cables £10(sold) Pair of front only Bilstien coilovers, 25-30mm drop. NOT height adjustable, fixed height and damping £25 Hicas solenoid to PS pump high pressure line. Remanufactured by local specialist a few years back. £10 That's basically all I've got spare ATM, I could do with a mint AG2 Aztec red bonnet if anyone wants to swap. I can sort postage, I can also bring parts with me for simply Japanese.

HELP - broken down
Give it some time then try again, maybe the PTU is breaking down. Have a good loom round though and just check the CAS plug etc hasn't wiggled loose. I've had that before.

Bumper panic
Get the drill out and a pack of cable ties and use them to stitch it back together. You can always rebond sections. This is why I don't want a fibreglass bumper though.

What did you do to your zed today?
Nope and a sump full of oil. I think, think the pan is damaged. Probably happened when I was hoofing the engine around to get across the bloody gravel.

I discovered I have low oil pressure.... :(

Manual conversion clutch pedal too soft
I might be confused but I swear you can wind the pin out to make it longer.

TT power steering pump converted to NA
What I've done which made life very simple and tidy was. Take the solenoid to PAS pot banjo fitting, bolt this to the rear banjo fittin on the pump which is the hicas take off. This then creates a nice short circuit that the pump simply feeds straight back to the pot. No adapters needed or messing around just utilising what's there. You will need a bit of hose, but that's it.

Simply Japanese.
Well done mate! No laughing here, it's a relaxed day out, turning up is a good start. Just a small note/reminder to add. When you arrive you will be given a piece of paper, this is for the people's choice award. This is what's used to pick the car of the show, well top ten as well. Please make sure you fill this in and vote for your favourite (Z of corse) car at the event. Previous years have seen us have upto 3 cars in the top ten so let's try and get a winner this year!

Just to give everyone the latest as time is quickly disappearing. Some of this will be a repeat but I'm consolidating for all three clubs. Payments can be made either here; https://www.beaulieushop.co.uk/Shop/...tegoryCode=076 Payments must be finalised this way before 5pm on the 31st of July. Alternatively payment in cash on the gate, try to bring the correct cash in this case to make life easier and faster. Adults £10 each Children £5 each Arrival has a few options as well. Either you can join the traditional convoy which will be meeting at 8am in mind to leave at 8.30-9.45. This is a public car park that we have used for the past few years for this process, before the supermarket opens so please be sensible and respectful, we don't wish to cause the loss of this. The address is as follows; Tesco Applemore Sizer Way Dibden Southampton Hampshire SO45 5JA The site(Beaulieu) offers the ability to park in the public car park before the event starts. If you don't wish to partake in the convoy. Or you can simply turn up, this does include a risk you may not end up parked with the club. Lastly to avoid confusion, can I request that everyone prints out a piece of A4 paper with "Z Club" written on half of it. I appreciate that not everyone is a Zclub member but this is to avoid last years segregation problem. This is then to be folded in half leaving an A5 sheet to display in the windscreen/sun visor. I will have one or two spare. We are looking at about 40 zed cars so your help is greatly appreciated. Lastly the address and directions for the event is here; http://m.beaulieu.co.uk/getting-here

Tyre choice has a lot to do with that though Si. So etching with a nice sidewall will make it look muscular rather than lost. I agree though 18" would have been better. You coming to beaulieu will?

oops, oh deer
I've seen similar with a BMW the deer went through the nostril and ended up just like that.

Do I need a 3inch exhaust? Gt25r turbos.
Yeah the divorced down pipes have a little I shaped divider in them that slots into there to seperate them. The seal isn't 100%.

Car spec and price enquiry
Why don't you pop along to beaulieu for simply Japanese next month, there will be a fair few club cars there so you will be able to get a proper look at a few and speak to owners face to face. Can't say fairer than that can we :D

Car spec and price enquiry
Just buy the best example you can afford. The years have all got pros and cons. An early 90s one say 93-96 is a great age to aim for but doesn't guarentee anything. You want something rot free with a good solid service history. The rest is just details.

She seems so interested...like when your aunt is humouring you. "Oh yeah that's lovely, well done."

It's difficult to get a proper seal between the Wastegate discharge and the turbine discharge portions in the exhaust by all accounts, so you literally do have an exhaust leak. Plus with you using yours on track days etc I bet it wouldn't pass flyby Db limits and would cause you hassel.

Swan 1 - Staffy 0
You've got to be some sorta halfwit to do that, the dogs lucky to be alive. Owner was obviously a complete tool. I spend a great deal of my time out and about, swans are top of the list of things you should give space to in the countryside. Followed by Shetland ponies, that's right Shetlands, the little ones, evil little *******s with a short fuse. Hopefully they will prosecute that **** for animal cruelty etc etc.

How much is this zed worth?

The hicas joints push the hub, so the gap between them and the wheels won't change much if any. Rolling the arch isn't too bad I did mine a few months back.

HICAS help please
If your planning to delete it anyway just buy the driftworks delete kit, this replaces the hicas ball joint in the process.
