Celica GT4 Daily driver?
Any advice on what model to go for as a daily driver? mk2 ST185 or mk3 ST205? I do think the ones with popup lights look better than the bug eyed later models and if they are essentially the same engine they would be similar power....

Celica GT4 Daily driver?
Cheers guys... After much reading I am deffo going to get one of these as my daily driver. I have a couple of questions. The 1992 ST185 (mk 2 I guess) looks to be the better car for an every day car - how easily can it be brought up to the 255 bhp (or 300bhp would be an eventual target) of the ST205? How does a 4wd car compare in handling to a rwd zed? As I have never driven a 4wd sports car.

Celica GT4 Daily driver?
I am thiking of getting a Toyota celica GT4 (the 4wd turbo model) as a daily driver. has anyone here ever had one - what do you think? Either ST185 or ST202. I prefer the look of the older model but with newer model having 255 BHP looks like quite a handy bit of kit. Isn't it the same engine that the MR2 Turbo has - I'm sure that can be tuned cheaply enough to reasonable power. Waddya fink? Please don't say get a scooby - I can't stand them and want a coupe. I just cant think of any other 4x4 turbo coupe that I could pick up for about 3k.

My Car Gone!!!!
Into the garage for a complete transformation. I was told today that the car I wanted to buy has been sold this morning... so there is no need to sell mine now - just as well because it ended up so cheap to make a sale and we all know a car with all the work mine has had should go for more. All the money I had put away to buy the other zed will now go into my zed! I will be uprating the tubs/intercoolers/injectors before some subtle mods and a respray. By that time thats done I should have saved enough for an ice install and some fluffy dice! She won't be out over the winter - so she will see you all next year! I will still be here though for a bit of banter - advice - and looking for parts. Oh yes... and I have a wicked DVD treat I'm putting together - so I won't be too far away!

Groovy Disks
As well as increasing the cooling area, water is forced into the channel and expelled without interfering with the braking surface between the disk and pad. It has to be the bottom one.

Who has been on a track day?
Just looking into booking one. They seem to range from 150.00 to 300.00 depending on where you book. How much time do you actually get on the track and is it something you can buy as a gift for someone else?

Demonstration of TT power!
ok - it IS a work of art.... AND a car.

Demonstration of TT power!
Mate, I think you have one of the nicest looking zeds out there.... But it's not a work of art - its a car - and cars are for driving and enjoying. You can't exploit how good a zed is on the road - so either take it to a track or a strip... trust me - you will see that all your hard work and cash was worth it.

Advice on intercoolers
HKS Intercooler Kit for Nissan 300ZX Z32 VG30DETT HKS Intercooler kits are application specific upgrade kits for factory intercooled turbocharged vehicles. Designed individually for each application, intercooler size and placement are calculated for maximum efficiency and performance. The intercooler upgrade kits that are designed to mount in the factory intercooler location are enhanced in overall size, flow capacity and cooling efficiency well over the capability of the stock units. Each HKS Intercooler kit utilizes an application specific tube and fin intercooler core with cast aluminium end tanks, as well as mandrel bent intercooler pipes and silicone joint hoses. The metal intercooler piping of each kit, which replaces the stock rubber hoses that tend to expand under boost, offer increased durability, consistent boost pressure, better response and an attractive appearance. All the necessary brackets, hardware and fittings are also included for a complete bolt on installation."
