  1. Yep, I'll admit... that might have been me. :)
  2. Rats! - Can't send PM. Must remember to renew my subscription. If you're around at all this evening give me a buzz on zero triple seven nine one two zero one double two. Reckon I'll be leaving here sometime between 6 and 7pm. Cheers bud, Bart
  3. Hmm.... if you're going down that route why not just remove the standard fuel tank entirely (72 litres remember) and then replace it with a 50 litre LPG tank and a 20 litre petrol tank for emergencies when you can't get any LPG? Not sure if this is realistic or not. You'd still have to put the nozzle for filling with LPG in the boot though I think. But I agree, I thought about it on my old car, however sooner or later they're going to put the prices up I'm sure.
  4. Yeah, as said above that's rubbish. Better to run on super or optimax but octane 95 isn't going to cause the engine to seize. Read the service manual. Ain't gonna happen.
  5. Think that hits the nail on the head: not me that's for sure. :)
  6. Sorry, only just managed to get online again. Could meet up on Sunday on the way back up if you've time? Be nice to finally meet somebody from the club.
  7. That sounds familiar... but it's years since I've even looked at anything like that. Not so much of a problem nowadays but I think minmax used to be a performance hog because it calculates all possible scenarios.
  8. I'm heading down to Bournemouth. Will be around there until Thursday at a conference, then going to Dorchester to visit my parents and brother. Surely somebody has to spot me. ;)
  9. Cheers matey. Was a good one.
  10. I live in fear of that happening every time I fill out my tax return... and like you, as far as I know I'm all paid up. Feel for you bud.
  11. ...Now what am I doing on here at 2 o'clock on a Saturday morning?!??
  12. Cheers mate! The big 30 unfortunately. :(
  13. Off topic, but nice sig pic in the car park mate. Where was that taken?
  14. I had a very similar experience with the car cover I bought from Concept Z Performance in the States: arrived about 3 days after I ordered it. I was absolutely gobsmacked because I was thinking 3 - 4 weeks at a bare minimum. Amazing really. Glad you got it sorted.

He was annoyed, he made an off-the-cuff remark, and it was a bit rude... and that's it. Most of us probably do that on an almost daily basis (I do). It certainly doesn't indicate that he's anti-Semitic (I've heard the interview recorded by the reporter he made the remark to). He shouldn't be suspended, and frankly it's not worthy of national news coverage, and probably not even local. The reporter is clearly a bit of a chancer out for some publicity and a career boost. And the rest of the media, and the PC fringe, being arsewits, just jumped on the bandwagon. All IMO of course.
  16. That the one that was going for £1500? Heck of a bargain you got there if it is.
  17. Ouch, bad luck. Don't panic just yet. Try supercarparts if you need a new one.
  18. Nice car, although I think those Supra lights and the bonnet vent might have to go. Only things I'd change on the interior are the steering wheel (what's that all about), and the gearknob.
  19. You'll need four of those bottles because (from memory - you should check this yourself) the fluid capacity of the manual gearbox is something like 3.1 or 3.6 litres. *DON'T* overfill it (or underfill it for that matter). Check how much you need.

Sounds like good news to me. All the best mate, hope it goes smoothly.
  21. About 3 times a week, or whenever you've taken a trip to the nearest supermarket, whichever comes first.
  22. Yeah, but watch that because I seem to remember that the *bottom* of the float has to be between the two markers, and *not* the top. If it's just the top you still haven't got enough in there. If you got this right the first time around, which you might well have done, I apologise. I just had to do a double-take at the manual myself when I did mine.
  23. Nah, come on, that's waaaaay too fast. Sorry bird, I think you're heading for legendary status with this. Hope it's all sorted soon bud. Cheers, Bart
  24. Goodyear F1s are pretty good. Haven't had any problems with mine, although they've only been on just over a week so far. Not so clever in snow or ice, but rated highly on wet and dry.
  25. Oh I'd just love one of those.
