  2. i know the feeling bud...got mine last september and after a couple of setbacks during re-build over winter and spring ime really enjoying driving it the last few weeks including the nice weather we,ve just had:thumbup1:

Steve ime going back 20 years mate with jap bikes and the woes of putting cam caps back ect...right upto to date you try to put 6-8mm steel bolts into blind ally holes with a torque wrench and your asking for trouble..just telling what i do,not saying its right as ive got more of a "feel" with my normal ratchets ;):biggrin:
  6. Go down from the top,next to the auto dipstick with a 3/8 14" ratchet and small (in lenght) socket...then run in doors and ask the missus where the band aid,s are for all the cuts to the back of your hands.

  8. could be one of the idler pullys on the cam belt going bad

  10. Make sure you use a small 3/8 torque wrench bud and go very carefull..Ive never been a fan of using a torque wrench going into ally and never do myself:wink:

  19. i had the same problem and chased the wires down to where it had broke right on a tight bend in the loom...solder,heat shrink and fixed:wink:
