  7. sounds like your bleeding off the fluid before you get a "head" above it...in this i mean its all dropping out before any storage is achieved and ive had the exact same problem on a nissan cabstar and this is what i done to sort it...get a metre piece of rubber hose and fit it to the bleed nipple and turn it back up inner wing to master cylinder and cable tie.undo bleed nipple and fill the master to the brim and keep top off then keep topping up over a few hours and fluid ends up the same level in rubber tube as master and most air should be out or at least purged enough to start bleeding.

  10. to pull the old and 1st check the new motor before it goes in your looking at 2 days drive in,drive out for a propper job and thats iff you know your way around these cars

  12. The under bonnet heat on these cars is its killer...do you have after market temp gauge and what was it. My motor runs at 70-74 centigrade but the heat under the bonnet is insane...Taking my heat shields off the turbo,s dont help so ime wrapping them soon.
  13. Ahhh i had a sneaky thought Jim would have it covered...check the black block connector that goes to the pump is still connected that pulls the clutch in

  15. A legal drop kerb is a good investment with regards to your property value and you would always re-coup your costs iff you sold the property.
  16. a contractor can do it but he or them needs to be on the approved sub-contractors list the councils have and use.
  17. dont loose the 0 rings pipes--pump;)
  18. leave it on till you pull motor mate...and put it back before you re-fit as its easier,and the alternator too is left on and fitted 1st with loom that connects down behind the drivers headlight
