I want to find my old TT and try buy it back BUT have no copy of the reg...sold it here in 2014 to a young lad who lived down south and he only posted a couple of times so cant remember his name. these looms can drive you insane...ive stripped back many in the past trying to find faults and you will be amazed how damaged they become inside the perfect looking insulation..wires that have just corroded and broke in half is the norm believe me. Fit a new loom and forget:wink: Its the best money you could spend on these cars as the under bonnet conditions on these cars is pure hell and combined with 20 years plus i dont know how they still run half of them.

I would consider buying but it would have to be very very low money ime affraid...Seriously matey while you have the chance of a full refund dont even consider going through with the sale and trying to recoup by selling,its not going to happen without severe financial loss:sad:

Iff you feel importing a car and finding it has the original VIN ground away and replaced with a new number which contains the text fuk u normal and not worthy of dramatic replies then thats all good too. Did you use your own t/c or use the one that came with the good box...reason i ask is a lot of guys dont change the t/c too and 9 times out of 10 its full of debri from the screwed box.

LOL...minefield of opinions but ive always used a good quality semi 10/40...i think early to mid 90,s engines run fine without using fully synthetic and regular changes with a new filter is far more engine friendly than leaving a full synth in for thousands of miles because you paid £40 for it. Other people think different and thats fine too.:wink:

Working on the basis that so many members would push for a refund then thats the future buying/selling base right there and ime sure you would not be able to ever sell this car imho. What would i do?? i would park the car up and heavily push for a full refund including all out of pocket costs.

Engine hot and let it idle in park while checking...any good quality ATF fluid.

I used to adapt my own rings to work with aftermarket wheels as the hicas boss was always expensive.....done that much since i cant remember what i did now but it will come up here in searches:yes:

Fluids of any type is not going to be your saviour here ....this is,the only real solution to seized nuts and bolts. And no propane gas will not be hot enough so dont even bother matey,it must be the Mapp gas OR oxy/act or propane. Get them cherry red and go very slow,too fast and you will hear "snap";)
