  1. Great to see so many zeds so early in the year as a lot are normaly still tucked up in bed till spring....That,s such a famous place for meets even though iv,e never been myself:(

I re-roofed a local KFC outlet and it was being replaced with a newer flat screen type of thingy as part of the re-vamp Steve...took it home and fixed it in my cave with working light too:D..Ironicly when that same outlet opened over 25 years ago i repaired the same roof and watched them fit my sign i have now.
  3. Wow on her own bike,that would have my nerves in tatters the whole way even though my missus can ride. Sorry bit of mis-info regarding my trip,getting ferry to Santander and riding back home as the trip.

  8. With regards to the front bumper from impul...its so much like an 89 OEM unit in many ways but f/g so i removed mine and went for a "bendy" 89,er as it always fought a better battle with speed bumps ect;)

Thanks for the heads up Simon and yes i have been slurping earlier this week when someone else spotted it for me:drool:...Although i know its a very good car or was when i let go of it at this present time i cant find the willpower to scrape £6.5K from under the bed....A swb manwell of the same mechanical quality and S2 dressed and ide be inclined to start reaching for my phone to try iron out a deal. It does,nt help that ive just bought the wife a 1969 Triumph spitfire and pick that up end of Feb. On the subject of rising classic car prices,has anyone seen how these spitfires and early MG,s have shot up in price:shock:

  16. At the lights blipping the pedal trying to find a new girlfriend you will notice a small difference in pick-up...on the road in the real world ide spend your hard earned elsewhere like brakes ect;)

Finnish work on friday night although ive let my slaves finnish earlier this week (i do have a heart)...couple of days of welding,light fabrication and telling the wife how much i love her while i get buckets of fresh coffee fired into my workshop. Then next week back to work and get on with trying to finnish a massive massive roof contract before the begining of April while trying inbetween to grab a few days in Iceland and back over to Sweden with the possibilty of buying a summer lodge where no humans walk hopefully:yes:. Christmas i love it !!!

  23. He used to be a man i respected for his love of life and the way he lived it...My feelings changed for him when he had a liver transplant and started drinking again in less then 18 months after receiving it:(
